His repertoire ranges from Lake Borgne and Lake Pontchartrain to bayous, marshes, and bays from Reggio, Delacroix Island to Pointe A La Hache, and the waters of Black Bay and Breton Sound. Capt. Jim specializes in light tackle fishing with live or artificial bait for Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Tripletail, and Drum.

    Captain Jim put us on the fish and we filled our limit in just 2 hrs! He was a joy to visit with and his buddy Jeff was a hoot!

    Capt. Bryan was great and put us on fish. This was our second trip out with Capt Bryan. Never disappointed. We all had a great time

    Both Capt and crew were fantastic they put is on fish first thing and we all caught fish all day. Fantastic trip

    Captain Jim and Frankie were awesome! Everything was ready when we arrived. They kept us on fish most of the day. We caught species we had never caught and some we had never seen. Great experience. Definitely recommend Captain Jim and High Tide Fishing Charters! Ronald

    Half day trip with Captain Jim

    Half Day Trip (PM) • 2 adulti • 1 bambino

    My 12 year old son and I had a great half day with Captain Jim. Captain Jim was patient with us and coached us through some of the technique for catching redfish, black drum, and some of the other fish in the area. Brought back out dinner and had a great time together.

    It was a good time Captain Jim and his Mate were excellent, the fish were there but slack tide and weather worked against us in our trip. We caught 3 solid fish the whole day but I think or experience would have gone from a good time to a day we will never forget if it weren’t for the weather here and the daily hell storms.

    Had to change our dates a couple of times due to inclement weather but Captain Jim worked with us to find a good day. He was able to put us on fish even though water conditions weren’t the best. Over all caught fish and had a blast doing it.

    We had a great time. It was cold but captain Jim gave our daughter his coat and made sure she had a great time. They took us to the dock to use the bathroom. It was so awesome.

    One of the best guided fishing trips that I have been on. Jim and Dalton were a great team that knew where and when to fish and took care of every need. I would fish with them again any time. PS - Not shown are the 40.+ Speckled Trout that we caught.
