I have been Fishing Miami Area Fresh and Saltwater since I was kid. Over 25 years of fishing and diving experience. I love and have a passion for fishing and also helping put others on the fish. guarenteed to have a fun time im very laid back and no one of these salty old captains! We have fun bit most importantly catch fish! this is my
fulltime job and im on the water 5 times a week so I know whats going on at anytime!
i have a few different options as far as boats do bigger groups are no problem! many of my customers turn into friendships! looking forward to seeing you on the water! tight lines!!!

Captain Charles was the perfect guide—knowledgeable, laid-back, and clearly passionate about putting people on fish. From the minute we got on the boat, he made us feel at home. He knew exactly where to go and how to work the waters to get results. Within minutes, we were hooking into beautiful, hard-fighting peacock bass, and the action just kept going all day. These fish are aggressive, colorful, and so much fun to catch—it was a total blast. The gear was in great shape, the boat was clean and comfortable, and the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Captain Charles shared a lot of helpful tips and made sure everyone was having a great time, no matter their skill level.

Mezza Giornata – Cichla Everglades • 2 adultiWe went on the 4hr Everglades Peacock bass trip with Capt Charles. He was super responsive to messages and very easy to work with. He worked hard to make sure we had live bait for the trip, and put us onto big fish right away. It’s clear he knows the water well and took us to several spots where we got many bites. We caught some monster peacock bass, largemouth, and gar. He pointed out wildlife including gators, birds and manatees. The boat was comfortable, he played great music and overall we had a great time. Would highly recommend a trip with him if you get the chance.

Captain Charles took us to a fresh water body for Peacock bass fishing. He was very punctual, helpful and communication was very good. He took us to 3 different spots based on the biting and we were able to catch (all 4 of us) plenty of them. I would strongly recommend Captain Charles and would love to work with him in future if we come back to FL for fishing …. Thank you Captain Charles.

The scenery alone was worth it—but the fishing made it unforgettable. We caught peacock bass and had a blast doing it. Plenty of fish, great conditions, and a memorable experience all around. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a rewarding on-the-ground adventure!

Minutes after I booked the trip, Charles reached out to me to confirm the trip and inquire about what was important to us so he could tailor the day to meet our wishes. He stayed in communication right up to trip time and let us know where to go, what to expect, etc. The boat was a great size for the 6 of us. Captain Charles is obviously an experienced boatman and fisherman. He knew what to look for, where to find the fish, and how to get them on the line and in the boat. He fileted them for us and we had a fabulous fish dinner that night. Not only was he a true professional, but Captain Charles was a lot of fun as well. He made the day one we'll never forget. I highly recommend Salty Fresh Fishing Charters! From my son who celebrated his birthday that day ... Captain Charles took us out for my birthday cruise, and it could not have been better. We went out early in the morning an dwound up 1/4 of the way to the Bahamas without even noticing. He was a true professional with an expertise in all of the local fishes, and a great undrestanding of all of the proper baits and fishing spots. The trip could not have gone better, and I hope you are able to have as much fun as we did out on our oceanic adventure.

Fall Peacock Bass Bite ?????

With the fall brings cooler waters the Peacockbass are beginning to bite very well, putting on some weight for their spawn. We are getting some freshwater Tarpon as well as a ton of other exotic species mine cichlids. Oscars, Florida gar Snook and largemouth bass.

Reef Fishing Trip

Re-fishing trip has been fantastic. The mangrove snapper and muttonsnapper are starting their spawn. Have been getting a wide variety of different species. Snapper barracuda group, mitton snapper yellowtail, how many more! Knocker rigs have been very effective while chumming up the water! Summertime Peacock Bass Fishing

With summer storms and summers rains knocking at our door hundred degree temperatures here in Miami the Peacock Bass are loving it warmer white waters are getting these fish going with some places. These fish are in spine and post spine. We are still finding some on active beds look for a great buy in the Miami urban canal system, averaging 10 to 15 fish per trip and if you book an Everglades trip expect to average 25 fish per trip. Right now we are getting on them with live shiners as well as swim baits and paddle tails Fauquier trip today with Salty fresh fishing charters.
