My wife, 10-year old, and I had a great time with Captain Bob today and caught a fish who btw was very tasty 😁🙏🐟.  Today’s weather was overcast with some sun and rain which was great not too hot not too cold and the lake was calm and not too choppy.

Captain Bob knows his stuff and he is good company.  The gear is top notch and boat is very comfortable with all the amenities.  This trip was the first time my son had fished on Lake Ontario so that was very exciting for him and he was very happy getting his first salmon.  Thanks for a great time Captain Bob 🙏😁

Despite not catching a fish, I had a great time. As a hunter and lifelong fisherman, I know that every trip brings the chance of getting skunked. Bob was constantly adjusting the lines and fighting to get one hooked, but the beautiful weather countered his efforts. Mid may isnt prestine for salmon, as their more active in late june and july. we were hoping for a drop in barometric pressure, but it never came.

Bob and i had some awesome conversations while we fished and my favorite part of the trip was learning the ropes. I asked a ton of questions about the equipment, the depth of the lures, what the lures are doing underwater, the speed we trolled at, how to target salmon va trout, and Bob was happy and excited to teach me. this was an A+ experience — even without a fish being caught and i will be coming back to fish with Bob one on one once again ASAP because I know our luck will shift on the next adventure. if youre a real fisherman, you know that there is so much more to fishing than just reeling one in. Bob delivered on all of those other aspects that led me to fall in love with the sport, and based on his other reviews, my lack of catching is clearly uncommon for his clients! Thanks for a great time, Bob! Hoping to get back out with you in july barring my hip surgery!

My son is a fishing fanatic, so when we were planning a trip from Nova Scotia to Toronto, we knew fishing would be on the list! We booked 2 half days with Captain Bob and were not disappointed! Captain Bob was fantastic! He has so much experience and is very knowledgeable about everything fish related. Trolling was a new method of fishing for us. We love ‘bait and wait’ fishing so this was right up our ally!  Captain Bob had everything we needed. The boat and equipment were top of the line! We caught fish both days! An amazing experience for my son (we enjoyed ourselves too). A trip filled with memories that will last a lifetime! If you’re considering a guide, I’d highly recommend Captain Bob!

What an unforgettable first fishing trip! We were fortunate enough to catch rare Atlantic salmon and spawning salmon, and we even brought home some fresh trout for dinner. The captain was fantastic—so humble, patient, and engaging with the kids, taking the time to explain every single step of the process. He made our very first experience truly memorable for the whole family. Highly recommended!

Captain Bob was professional, punctual. Showed us the ropes and patiently answered our questions.  Boat was clean and comfortable for an afternoon out on the Lake. The wind picked up a bit and the water got choppy so we opted to return early.  Would book again with Captain Bob but maybe try a morning outing. Thanks Bob for a lovely afternoon!
