Capt. Pete has been fishing in Montauk for over 30 years. He first gained much respect among local anglers by working as first mate for some of the town's most demanding captains, and his considerable experience he has landed some of the area's top tournament winners. Pete has been captain of My Mate for the past twelve years, during which time he has perfected his customer service and become a valued member of the Montauk charter boat fleet.

We went for sharks but didn't see any. Sometimes that's the way it is. Capt Pete and First Mate Tyler did a great job of trying. We had an awesome day despite missing out on the sharks. Would absolutely try again.

Very pleasant, no-pressure day with Capt. Pete and mate, Steve. Competent, professional. All one could ask for. No one can put fish on your line, no matter what they advertise. The time we spent on the water was totally satisfying.
