I have been fishing my entire life. I caught the fishing bug at a very early age, fishing for freshwater species in upstate South Carolina. When I was able to afford my own boat, I started fishing Bass tournaments and eventually competed in some lower level professional tournaments. I was a high school teacher and football coach for 30 years. About 20 years ago, I got the head football coaching position at a local high school and fell in love with inshore saltwater fishing. I started to guide, at first, just in the summers when school was out, then retired from education and became a full-time fishing captain.

He treated us incredibly well and was a great conversationalist, even when we did stupid stuff and didn’t know how to fish at all. He knew exactly what to do at all times, and consistently found fish for us. Nothing but good things to say!
