One of the first things I tell people when they get on the boat... 'Think out loud.' Although we're known for some of the best fishing grounds in Florida, it's not just about fishing. There is shelling, wildlife, oyster bars, sand bars, and grass flats. There is lots of wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, birds, otters and so much more. There are places to swim and cool off as well as some really good fishing spots. Some like to fish, and some like to shell. I say why not do both? I have spots where some can shell on a secluded beach while others can fish close by. Our saying has always been 'We leave the serious fishing to the other captains, we go out to have fun!'

Captain Joe arranged a trip for my family and showed us a great time although the fish were not biting a lot. We did catch them my teenage children and my wife all had a great time. It helped that the day was beautiful, but I think that even if it wasn’t, we would’ve had a great time I would recommend barefoot charters and captain Joe to anyone who asked thanks Captain Joe.

The weather was iffy, and here again Joe's knowledge and experience proved to be right on point. Joe is also an interesting guy, and we'll be booking with him again.
