Coyote Sportfishing – SALSA 

Coyote Sportfishing was excellent. Maria was a great help and pointed us to the correct location and made sure we were taken care of. Captain Frank was delightful and very welcoming, offered us a free upgrade to Gamefisher flamingo II. Isaac (first mate) and Mario (captain of gamefisher) were well knowledged and skillful. 5 tuna in the morning, 6ft + Sailfish in the afternoon, had a successful day. They also make a pretty decent sandwich for lunch ! Thanks so much Coyote Sportfishing! Will recommend you to friends in the future!

Fished with Capt Mario on the Salsa. Knowledgeable experienced Captain that got us on fish. Truly a great day and will fish with him next time I am there. I fished on the 26 or 27 foot Salsa. If you want more comfort, recommend you check out the larger boats in the coyote fleet. But if you are used to fishing smaller boats and want to experience fishing up close and personal, the Salsa is for you.

Booked the “Salsa” for two days - Monday and Wednesday. Captain Jose and crew mate Cesar were very welcoming and informative about Costa Rican fishing. Caught multiple Yellowfin Tuna and a big Mahi Mahi, with plenty of drinks, snacks, food, and laughs. I highly recommend fishing with coyote when you come down to Tamarindo or nearby towns.

Jose and Victor did their best changing tackle and methods. It was a slow day, but a great day, and we caught dinner!

Incredible day, with Max and Jose!! These guys are great; they put me on fish all day. We caught countless Mahi and a huge Sailfish! They earned a thousand stars but I can only give them five!!!! I Will Be Back With Them Again! Thank You Max, Jose & Camila

In half a day we catch 5 big Mahi Mahi. The crew was very nice and and experts in their job. We recommend everyone to come and enjoy a day on this boat. They cleaned our fishes, we had drinks and fruits. They speak english very good. Highly recommended

Captain Jose treated us to a wonderful day of fishing! He put us on some phenomenal mahi and capped the day with a sail fish! Amazing! Beverages were icy cold and fresh pineapple was a much appreciated treat! Highly recommend a trip on Coyote Fishing!

Jose was amazing. Knew what we were going for and got it. Highly recommend. A tick off of my bucket list because of them!!

I went on my first ever sport fishing trip on the 15th of December. Nacho was great he worked really hard to find the best places to fish and was constantly changing lures and bait. We caught 3 decent sized Mahi Mahi before lunch the biggest maybe 50lbs. At the start I said I wanted to catch a big billfish and Nacho delivered!! We think the Blue Marlin was around 350lbs. I can't thank Nacho enough that was one of the best experiences of my life! I certainly couldn't have caught it without him! Thanks Nacho!!!
