Mixed Fishing Charters Punta Cana 

We booked a half day trip for Feb, as a fun addition to our holiday. Dmitry arranged transport from our resort and was waiting when the door to the van opened. The boat was spotless and organized. We were new to Carribean fishing, but he was very patient and a great teacher. We were on fish in no time. We caught 2 nice triggerfish, some small groupers, and a few he called "great for bait" 😂. We had a blast. Like fishing with your dad or grandpa. We heard these seas are rarely calm, next time we will take dramamine. wife got a little motion sick, but he made her cofortable with cool drinks and a big hat to block the sun. When we come back with our boys, we will definately spend another day on the water with him. Thank you Dmitry.

Trolled out past reef then set up to bottom jig grouper and Snapper. Caught about 12 grouper, and caught many bait fish about 12 to 18 inches long. Bonus we got to see an orca whale. An excellent day and a decent catch. Recommended.

Full moon affected the bite, Captain worked hard to find fish. Boat and gear was in great shape.

Great day at the wather!

While the fishing was slow on the day I went out, Captain Dmitry worked hard to find the fish. We started by catching fish for bait and then moved to several locations in search of bigger game fish. We did end up catching a grouper, which was the first one I've ever caught! Captain Dmitry uses an app to translate between Russian and English. We actually talked quite a bit since it was just me and him on the boat that day. I definitely made a new friend that day. It was a beautiful day on the ocean, but the waves were a constant 4-6 feet where we were fishing. Definitely recommend dramamine, since the boat is smaller. While I wish the fishing was better, I still had an outstanding experience. I'll definitely book with Captain Dmitry the next time I'm in the DR!

We enjoyed our fishing trip and got multiple fish with us to eat afterwards. We both got seasick during the trip though so if we would do it again we would probably book a trip with a bigger boat. We were able to bring our 5 year old with us. Over all a fun day!

Well four guys four hours and only four fish is not great fishing (we did lose around 5 more fish including two Barracuda) but Alex puts in 100% effort (I don’t believe in saying 110%) to make sure you can get as many fish in the boat in an ethical manner. Not only is a fishing trip about catching but also about enjoying yourselves as well and Alex makes sure that you get a history lesson of the island and as well a lot of laughs. We also saw numerous flying fish and a pod of five Humpback Whales that he stayed a respectable distance from so as not to disturb them but we were able to appreciate their majestic beauty. When I read the reviews prior to booking I was sceptical about all the high rankings and no low ones, I know now why the scores were higher as he does his best to make you feel welcome, appreciated and respected. Keep up the stellar work!

Had a great trip yesterday. Seas were rough so we had to head in early. Caught sand tile fish for bait then caught red snapper strawberry grouper and another orange grouper that I was unfamiliar with. Caught 1 larger shark too that caught for an hour….was quite the workout. Took a big snapper to a restaurant the captain recommended that they cooked up. The 1 fish fed five of us! Gave the rest to the captain

We caught lots of fish! Mostly sand tile fish. Some red grouper, one squrriel fish (very cool), one black tregar fish and 2 giant queen trager fish! Caught about 30 fish in 3 hours. Our whole group of 3 seemed to all get seasick at the same time and the caption offered to bring us to a pool to help pass the seasickness. We declined tho as we didn't want to stop fishing. Caption does speak very limited eenglish and uses a translation app over his boats speakers. There's absolutely no question that this guy can put you on the fish! Extremely knowledgeable and skilled!

Punctual, Professional and a joy to be on the water with. Captain Alex picked us up right on time, took us to the grocery store (even went in w us and showed us where what we needed was) and worked hard to give us a successfull day on the water. Alex is very knowledgable on all things in The Domincan Republic. He educated us on marine ecosystems, island history, the massive growth and development of Punta Cana, etc. Highly recommend him for an enjoyable excursion. Thanks Again Captain Alex
