SalBoat Sorrento Fishing Tours 

We had such a great time with Captain Sal and his crew. Honestly one of the highlights of our trip. It’s way more than just a fishing charter, you get to cruise around the island, swim, snorkel, fish, and just enjoy the day out on the water. They also put together lunch and drinks, which was a really nice touch. What stood out the most was how thoughtful Sal was. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, and we didn’t even mention it ahead of time, but somehow he had gluten-free food ready for her on board. That alone says a lot about the level of care he puts into the experience. Fishing was awesome we caught a bunch, and they even cooked some of it up fresh right on the boat, which was such a cool bonus. And his crew handles everything, so you’re not messing with bait or hooks, you just enjoy it. Sal is the kind of captain you hope for; funny, easy to talk to, and really knows the area. Just a genuinely good guy. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We’ll definitely be booking with him again next time we’re in Sorrento.

Sal and his crew are so awesome, when you are on his boat, you are family. we had a fun day, excelllent lunch and would absolutely book with Sal again.

Our fishing trip with Captain Sal was exceptional! After dropping off some guest at Capri and enjoying the incredibly scenic boat ride, we started working the waters around Capri and had steady action from tuna, bonita, mackerel, sea-brim, and needlefish for the entire four hours we were fishing. After the other guest return to the boat, we went to a secluded bay for some snorkeling where I was able to feed huge schools of assorted fish and enjoy the incredibly clear water. Once we all returned to the boat, we were treated to our fresh caught fried fish along with a delicious lunch of pasta, homegrown vegetables, cheese, fresh baked bread, and his sister Maryann’s amazing homemade chocolate cake. While having lunch, we circled the island while the first mate, Lorenzo alternated, handing out courses of the meal and sharing interesting information about every corner of the island. Lorenzo also did a phenomenal job of assisting with setting lines and landing fish while he also shared great information about the local resource. We’ve fished a lot of different destinations and never had a trip with more action and more variety of adventure~all while surrounded with such amazing beauty that only Capri and Sorrento can provide.

What a fantastic day! Communication from booking was excellent. We were given the option of 4 hours fishing, 4 hours on Capri or split 2 hours Capri then 2 hours fishing. Had a homemade lunch of pasta salad with vegetables from the family garden, the fish we caught and desert was a homemade chocolate cake his sister made that his sister made that am. You just spend the day right off Capri, the views are hard to beat. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time with SalBoat, Sal and Marianna and all the crew were very kind, helpful and patient, telling us facts about the surrounding area and helping us with the fishing rods. They also served us a few treats on board! All my friends enjoyed it though one of them dropped their phone in the ocean lol. Would highly recommend sailing with them and brining a water proof case for your phone. 😉😂

I took my 11 year old son for a full day fishing trip! It was amazing, we loved it. We had a lot of things to do and see from fishing, snorkeling, checking out caves and delicious food and drinks. The crew was welcoming and amazing!

Sal and his family and crew were very accommodating. We had a great time on his boat and caught several interesting fish. The home made food and limoncello was delicious! Thank you for a fun day at sea!

We chose to do a fishing trip instead of just sight seeing and it was great! Sal and Anna were amazing- super attentive and helpful. The views were gorgeous! We were able to see the beautiful island, in addition to catching our own lunch! Everything was prepared perfectly and from Sals family farm! Make sure to catch a lot of fish, bc that’s all your protein for the meal! Also a tip to eat breakfast bc lunch is a little later in the day- depending on how many fish you catch! Lol We didn’t do the stop on Capri island bc our group opted to spend more time in the water swimming and fishing, but Sal was able to drop us off, since we were spending the evening there, before he took the rest of the group back!

Beautiful trip when in Sorrento! The boat trip, views and crew are worth the admission aloe, not to mention the fishing! Very memorable time and a highlight of our stay. Relaxing and accomidating!
