Scouts Out Fishing Charters 

This was our second trip with Captain Eric and he is absolutely awesome. He is passionate about fishing and does everything possible to make sure that his passengers have a fantastic trip. Looking forward to sailing with him again in the next fishing season

We were in Galveston for a short family vacation, so we didn't have much flexibility in picking our day for fishing. We picked the best option and went with it. Eric and his daughter, Tiger, couldn't have been nicer. We stopped at several places, and Eric was constantly rigging poles with the proper equipment and bait. If we wanted to try something else, he'd be right on it. The weather just wasn't the greatest for fishing, but we still caught a couple of really nice fish. All in all, we had a great time, and I would book with them again.

Four friends did the 6 hour charter with Cpt Eric. Due to storm debris concerns we waited until light to depart and it was total safe travel the entire day. We caught trout at the Jetty. Spent the day laughing and having a great time. It was our first time doing the private fishing charter and we all want to do it again. Even hooked a Jack Crevalle near the end of the trip "trolling". We're still taking about how enjoyable the experience was for us all. Average rating of the 4 guys: 4.8 of 5.

This trip was for my three teenagers and husband and brother in-law . They all said it was great they had lots of fun was able to relax and be they're selfs . Captain Eric was wonderful and fit right in with the boys they caught lots different variety. He even stayed out longer and gave extra time. I would highly recommend Captain Eric

Eric was a fantastic captain. Communication was excellent and he was very accommodating to our group. Despite some challenges with the weather everyone in our group caught a lot of fish (mainly speckled trout) and even a few founder and 2 sharks. Great time! We’ll definately go again.

Our family had an awesome afternoon of fishing! We caught fish after fish at each spot the captain took us too! He was patient with our teens and showed us a great time! My husband caught the largest fish he had caught yet! Would definitely recommend!

Eric, did a great job putting us right on the fish. We caught limits and had a blast. You could not ask for a better trip. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be booking another trip with Captain Eric!

Eric was extremely friendly very knowledgeable in great spots to fish. Although The day we went out the weather had been rough so we didn’t have much luck fishing ..we did catch a few things but not what we were hoping. When we arrived back to the dock all the fisherman were saying the same thing. Just part of it. Boat was very clean and very organized. Over all great time!lots of good laughter and just a great trip!! Will def book again with Eric.

Well, I can say we were unlucky to pick a day where the fish just weren’t biting - however - we still had a blast!!! Our 5 man crew included ages from 14-75!! We all had a blast. The views were great! Captain and his deck hand were very kind and friendly! The boat and equipment was all beautiful! We had plenty of live bait and Capt. Eric knew his equipment very well. We hooked a very large Stingray at the end of the trip. My son wrangled him for a good 45 mins and Capt. Eric then wrangled it as well! He was able to bring it to the surface for a view but we ended up cutting the line - it was just too large to bring in! Our excursion was from 3-8 PM, however, due to the wrangling we didn’t depart til after 9:30! We really appreciate the dedication. In addition to fishing we had great music, beautiful views and fun boat rides!! I highly recommend Capt. Eric and Miss Tiger! Thanks y’all!

What a day! It was my husband’s birthday so I booked this fishing trip for him. He absolutely loves fishing and could spend hours on the water. Captain Eric’s boat is very nice and clean. He set us all up with the rods and we were all catching fish in no time! Most of what we caught were slightly shy of 15” so we released them back into the ocean. We still had a blast! After we left the dock, we all went to relax at a restaurant nearby called the Fisherman’s Wharf and had drinks and a seafood 🦞 dinner. What a nice way to top off the day.
