The Grateful Fred Charters 

Spent half day fishing with my 17 year old son. Fred was totally on top of everything. All the best gear and extensive knowledge gained from experience and shared with enthusiasm. We were inexperienced but determined anglers before we met Fred, now we feel like knowledgeable novice anglers. Thanks so much we will be back soon.

I was looking for a sendoff for my younger son, who is leaving for college this fall. When discussing this with him, he asked to go fishing. I booked with captain Fred because of his reviews and his business name. I was grateful to have this opportunity with my two sons and also I had jammed out at a few dead shows many moons ago. Captain Fred was perfect. He was accommodating to our needs from the day we booked until we docked after our trip. Captain Fred‘s boat had everything we needed and the short ride out to the coral reef, about 20 minutes, was comfortable. Once we got out there, captain Fred set us each up with a rod and patiently taught us each the ropes. Fishing is like life there are no guarantees. But it was evident as we started to fish that it was guaranteed that captain Fred was gonna do everything that he could to make sure that we enjoyed our experience and came home with some fish. It took us some time, but that mission was accomplished with each of us, catching fish of different sizes and in different manners, but at the end the day, we all had a memorable fishing experience. When we returned back to the dock captain, Fred cleaned the fish that we were able to keep based on the state guidelines and I’m looking forward to frying it up tonight. Unfortunately seasons coming to an end, but I’m already looking forward to booking with Captain Fred Fred next summer

My daughter and I went fishing with Fred out of Ocean city, he put us on Fish all day!. Great boat, great gear, great captain!, 10/10. Thank you!.

Captain Fred was awesome. I took my son out for his 1st ocean fishing trip... Captain Fred was very attentive to all our needs. He ( being the experienced fisherman) had a line in the water to catch and then turn the rod over for someone else to have the thrill of reeling in a fish!! My son caught 4 fish and that's all that mattered to me . We will be back to charter or perhaps utilize Capt Fred's Sunset cruise outings. Congrats to your daughter Sam.. and from the bottom of my heart I say thanks for the day and memory for my son.

We celebrated my son Zen’s 13th Birthday fishing in Ocean City with Fred the best host ever. By the way Zen caught the biggest flounder he was very excited. Thank you for this amazing experience🫡🌎

He was so nice kind and pleasant!!!! We really enjoyed our 4 hour fishing trip. Caught flounder. Was nice how he kept cleaning off our lines of seaweed. Went in May.

Captain Fred made this an amazing trip. A great guy and made it seem like we had been fishing together for years. Would recommend him to family and friends. Definitely looking forward to getting back out on the water with him!

We had so much fun fishing with Captain Fred. We fished the back bay and caught about 10 to 15 flounder. Captain Fred was very friendly and made the trip outstanding! Highly recommend booking with Captain Fred.

The boys and I had a great experience out with Fred. For not being experienced fishers, he taught us all we needed to know in a patient, kind, and exciting way. The whole 4 hours was worth every cent and we’ll definitely continue to go out on the water with him when we visit again! Great family guy and highly recommend him. 🐟🐠🎣☀️
