Capt Aaron graceously offered us the opportunity to go with Capt Chuck in lieu of original reservations with him. Capt Chucks boat was a bit more amenable to my husband who is unable to do big step ups or down. Aaron felt this was a better opportunity for his ability. It worked out perfectly. Against all odds( mid-day fishing, windy day , hot…we still caught a crappie, striped bass and a nice bunch of Catfish.. I would highly recommend these two Capts to make your day.. we’ll definitely be back to Lake Enid.

Had a great afternoon trip with Captain Chuck. Caught a bunch of Crappie, catfish, and white bass.

My husband, my daughter, and I went fishing with Barton Outfitters (Oxford) for the 4th of July (2026), and although we did not catch but 7 fish (crappie and bass mix), the experience was very nice. Should there be a next time, we will fish for CATFISH! FYI: We did not know that the best time to fish for crappie is NOT July. Lol!

I wanted a fishing trip to make some memories with my kids, especially my 8 year old. I have had a hard time getting my youngest to engage in fishing. He was always bored or just not into it. Capt Rusty absolutely delivered on what I was looking for. He made the entire trip worth it. The weather wasn't great. It was kinda cold and rainy off and on. It didn't matter. We caught fish and my 8 year old had a blast. I want to thank the captain. You can tell you yourself are a father and a damn good one too. Next trip I'm bringing my daughter and the rest of the family. I won't book with another outfitter going forward. From one dad to another, thank you do very much. Sean

Captain Aaron and Dublin took my sister and I out on lake Enid. We caught, crappie, bass, blue catfish, channel catfish, and drum! We came out to catch our first crappie and Aaron put us on the fish! We enjoyed learning about the boat and how to troll crankbaits, even tried noodles! Captain Aaron was super polite and fun. We both had a wonderful, safe time with Barton Outfitters! Can’t wait to book again!

We had a great time with Josh . Caught many fish and he was funny and accommodating. He was very professional and I highly recommend this charter. It was a great fishing experience we had a great time !

Very helpful for a last-minute planning. We had an excellent time, and learned a few new tricks along the way. Excellent lunch and fresh drinks we specified. We caught enough fish for me and my partner to split that will last us about 7 fish dinners each! Aaron was always quick to respond with excellent communication. Highly recommend this charter guide!

Captain Aaron is a down to earth guy! He provided a wonderful experience. Between the conversations, fishing, and riding you just knew he knew what he was doing! Would definitely recommend!
