SAction Fishing Guide 

Took my father out with my sons. Jose had us fish traditionally without trolling. Which was surprisingly but awesome gave us the opportunity to fend for ourself. we were shy one 1 fish to limiting out due to a storm which with an hour left on the charter im sure we would of landed it. but decided to call it si we wouldnt get csught out on the lake with rain. My old man had almost forgotten how to use a rod and enjoyed fighting the monster redfish even got a blister. my 10 yr was killing it and we all had a great time. Jose is a very educated young man in regards to his passion for fishing and his witts on outside success. i will be chatering 2-3 more time with him before he moves on to law enforcement. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our second time out with Joe, and it was definitely worth it! It was my son’s birthday, and this trip was the gift he asked for — and it did NOT disappoint. We couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift. Thanks again, Joe, for making it such a great experience!!!

Had a great trip, we limited out with quality fish quickly and had our choice to head in or stay and fish. The guide gave us the option of fishing bait, lures or a combination of the two which was exactly what we were looking for. Great open layout on the boat that let you easily follow big fish.

If you have ever booked a fishing charter you’ll know that there’s usually a lucky boat that’s catching a ton of fish, and all of the rest of the boats are circling it trying to get in on the action. SAction is that boat. We caught well over 60 fish on a morning charter. All were caught humanely and the vast majority were released. Jose’s gear was awesome, light rods with well maintained reels, so when we caught a big Red or a catfish the fight was on. The best part was he let us fish unassisted unless we desired it. I’m not fond of charters where the crew do all of the fishing, and only let the customer reel the fish in. Also he had plenty of bait and lures. I get annoyed when a charter boat runs out of bait Jose runs a phenomenal charter and I asked him to take us out again if he finds some available time.

We met Jose at the dock, early on our part and he was already ready to go. He was welcoming and explained his plan. We trolled some but only caught a little guy. Then we went over to the dam and bottom fished and caught some more. During all of this we had a variety of weather from sun to rain to hail. After the storms gathered we decided to head home since we could hear thunder. In all it was a fun trip and when I come back I’ll definitely be booking Jose again!

Trip was great, limited out on reds then got on catfish. Captain was super cool laid back guy willing to answer questions and very patient to more experienced and newer fisherman. Plan to go back in a few weeks. Definitely the best was to fish in San Antonio. 10/10 boat t& experience.

Wow! What an amazing fishing trip, I am so glad I chose this captain. We caught two limits of catfish and that is enough fish to feed a lot of people. Jose (Joe) put my grandson and I on the fish in a short amount of time and we caught fish until we limited out, I would recommend this guide to anyone who wants a great experience fishing. He even fillets and bags all of your fish at the end of the trip, I could not say enough good things about our guide!

Contacted Jose last minute because a work trip cut short my Father’s Day weekend. I was able to book a night fishing trip for my kids nd I. Jose was awesome and made the trip enjoyable. He is a very friendly guy and knowledgeable of the lake. Based on his trip price I think I’m going to book him once a month. It’s better than the hassle of owning a boat and it’s monthly costs. I will definitely recommend his services to anyone I know.

We started the trip at 1:30 on time. As soon as we arrived at our fishing location, the captain knew exactly where to put us. Fish was on, and my girlfriend and I had fish on our lines throughout the trip. Highly recommended and will definitely be coming back. Thank you
