R SPORT Fishing 

Tank you Captain Rocha and crew. We were not expecting mych fish, however we were pleasantly surprised that the Captain knew the current an the spots to fish. The boat was well equipped and we used both plastic and live bait. Managed to catch about 30 Dorado only keeping the larger ones and about 6 rainbow runners? on the jack family. the 1s mate cleaned and dressed the fish. And were able to tke sime to or hotel to be prepared. They provided fruit, lot of juice, water, sodas. We were allowed to bring beer and other drinks. although a small boat they do hav a small port o potty gor the female guests. Overall exceeded my expectations and best part we caught FISH 🐟.

We went out with Captain Rocha and caught rooster fish, spanish mackerel, rainbow runners and needle fish. The captain was very responsive and helpful. He even helped me decide which gear to bring to surf fish on my own during my trip and also offered us a ride if we needed one. We made a plan on what we wanted to target before the trip whcih was amazing!! If you want a true Costa Rican Pura Vida experience and knock fish off your bucket list dont hesitate to book R sport fishing. I will definitely be reffering anyone and coming back myself in the future. Thank you for the experience of a life time!!

Rocha picked us up right at the beach behind the Los Suenos Marriott. Hopped right on the boat. He had ice, drinks and chips for us. Started out fishing for sailfish, it was an afternoon excursion so we knew it was not likely. We then headed out 10 more miles and saw the largest school of dolphins ever! A true sign that tuna was there. We got our rods ready and immediately hooked a tuna. It was exciting for sure! We brought in a 60 pound tuna in minutes! What a fun day. We will definitely use Rocha again and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND fishing with him!

we had Pepe had elyin take us out and they worked hard to get us on fish. we halled in 4 fish and we missed 3 or 4 where we had fish on. the guys running the boat were great, gave us drink, snacks, cut up fresh pinnaple. etc. they were friendly and hard working. i would recommend fishing with these guys.

Capt. Rocha and his 1st Mate were great and very accommodating changing rigs numerous times so we call could catch multiple fish. Overall, I don’t think we could have had a better experience with any other Jaco fishing charter.

All we can say is very organized crew. Had a spectacular day with Isai Rocha and his first mate. We caught fish right of way we will definitely be back!

Although we didn’t catch any fish we had a great time. We got to see sea turtles and sailfish. I strongly recommend if you have back or neck problems to reconsider. The ocean waves are unforgiving. Great crew. We will come back again for a whole day

great crew. communicated great throught out the whole process. Great knowledge on how to put you in the fish and we got an unecpected species as well.

Capt Rocho and crew are the best. 20 boats out fishing on very rough conditions,we were the only reported boat to catch any thing. one tuna and five Mahi Mahi !!
