条件が整えば、クロカジキ、マカジキ、キハダマグロ、カツオ、カマスサワラ、シイラなど、多彩なターゲットを狙うことができます。これらの釣りツアーでは、ライトタックル（LT)またはヘビータックルを使ったトローリングが主な釣法となります。

キャプテン・カイウィ・ジョーが操船するのは、46フィートのリッキー・スカーボロー製スポーツフィッシング艇で、最大6名様までご乗船いただけます。アウトリガー、ファイティングチェア、その他必要な装備が完備されており、船内にはトイレもございます。ロッド、リール、ルアーはすべて船側でご用意します。

副船長（ファーストメイト）が同乗し、スムーズな釣行をサポートします。チップは20%が一般的な目安です。保全の観点から、カジキ類はほぼすべてリリースしていますが、シイラ、カマスサワラ（オノ）、キハダマグロ（アヒ）が釣れた場合は、ハワイ滞在中に楽しめるよう喜んでフィレにしてお持ち帰りいただけます。

サングラスと日焼け止め（スプレータイプ以外）をお忘れなく。船上にはミネラルウォーターとゲータレード各種をご用意しています。アルコールは適度な量であれば持ち込み可能ですが、強いお酒やガラス瓶はご遠慮ください。軽いスナック（午前中はペストリー、チップス、ミックスナッツなど）も船上でご提供します。

Very good with families going out on an adventure together. Although we did not catch any fish, they worked very hard to obtain objective. Knowledgeable Capt. at first mate, good equipment, very nice boat, presented a great spread for trolling. Just because we did not catch, do not let that stop you from booking with them. They are very experienced, they will treat your family well, and keep them safe, they teach, work very hard, and they keep a clean and tidy boat/equipment at all times. They are very passionate about what they do for a living!

Captain Joe and First Mate Wes were great. We hit a big Marlin, but weren't able to hook it, but it was a great day anyway. Highly Recommended.

The crew of the Mauna Loa were fantastic and knowledgeable and made every effort to get the fish to the boar. Sometimes the fish just don't want to cooperate. Highly recomend fishing with Capt. Joe and his hard working deckhand Wes!

    After a few days of questionable weather the Kona skies have cleared and its back to business! The ono (wahoo) are starting to show up, there's a few ahi to be had and the blue marlin bite is on the uptick!!

    Been a steady and grest start to 2026 with a very consistent blue marlin bite and a good showing of yellowfin and the occasional mahimahi/spearfish as well!! With the year round season Kona has to offer any day could be the most memorable day on the water you'll ever have. A full day trip gives you more time and opportunity to be successful as well as allowing us to spend more time in an area that the conditions look conducive to getting the bite!!     Fishing this week has been exceptional!! The tuna bite hasn't been this good in months, the last week has produced a handful of fish over 700lbs for the fleet including a 1039lb blue - yest we went 2 for 4 on blues, a shortbilled spearfish and a 115lb yellowfin!! With our year round season there's no better time to fish Kona's glass calm water than as soon as you can!! Check in for availability and last minute deals here or on our website!!

    Last few days we've had junior anglers onboard that all caught their first ono (wahoo) and the bkue marlin bite has been consistent with one a day - hard to beat the glass calm water of Kona!!

    Main objective was to find some fresh fish for Ryan S. and his group to eat while they're on island - we put iin a little effort and 15yr old Landon secured dinner landing a nice 28lb ono (wahoo). We switched over the lures and headed offshore with 68yr old April next up on the rod, we marked a nice fish on the fish finder and seconds later the short corner position went for a ride!! Like a seasoned vet our first time angler put the instruction/technique crew.an Wes Parker had given her to work and after a 25min battle we had her 500lb blue boatside!! After releasing the fish we were greeted with a large pod of dolphins in the glass calm cobalt blue waters of the Big Island which was the icing on the cake for the group - back to the harbor in time for brunch with lifeling memories, new friends and zip-locs of filets on ice for the grill!! Kona is incredible..

    We had a fabulous day on the ocean with Captain Joe and Wes. The boat was very clean, had great amenities, and we were lucky to catch a Wahoo and a Marlin. I would absolutely book this again!

    The time of year where we can spend some time fishing for the finest eating fish Hawaii has arrived!! Each morning we make our way down the coast in the lane where the ono (wahoo) are concentrated and its fairly common to get multiple strikes - after putting some "food-fish" onboard we head offshore to target marlin and ahi!! We filet/bag all fish for you and always have plenty ice to get your catch back to the resort or VRBO in the best condition. Dont hesitate the time is now!!
