He did his best to get us above the fish. The captain even rocked the birthday song on the way in. Cleaned up our fish and all. I recommend this captain to anyone! You will have a blast! No luck with the mackerel or cobia, but we could have caught our weight in ribbon fish! Had never heard of this one, but fun to catch. Easy reel for the kids or first timers. Spotted porpoise on the ride out and a sea turtle mid day. Saved phone number for future trips out of Virginia Beach.

6 Hour Trip – Inshore July 27, 2019に • 6 大人Great crew on board the “Smoke Show” captain got us on the fish all day with no time wasted. First mate and owner was very attentive and informative to make sure we had the best experience. I would highly recommended this charter. Beautiful boat with great people made a perfect day on the water. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Very laid back making sure we were satisfied and happy with everything. Reeling in Spanish mackerel all day trying to run into some drum too. Finishing the day with some cobia fishing. Definitely one for the books. Will be back again to fish aboard the “Smoke Show” .

Our group had an amazing trip. The boat was perfect. The fishing gear was top notch. Captain Robert made us feel like family and just was great. We had the greatest time out on the water. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

We went on a near-shore-ish trip on Father's Day weekend with Captain Robert and we had a good time. The fish weren't as cooperative as we wanted them to be but we all learned a lot about being out on the water with a knowledgeable Captain. We still caught some spadefish on light tackle and it was a blast. My dad caught the biggest one and it had that reel screaming at times. I will definitely recommend Captain Robert and hope to be out on the water again with some of my friends with a fly rod.
