The Skipper and Mate were wonderful. I took my Grandson who had never been ocean fishing, and we caught way more fish than I expected, I am a noted terrible fisherman, but they were patient, helpful and I never caught so many before and I am old. My Grandson is now considering buying a fishing boat.

Captain Mark and Kurt made the whole experience very enjoyable. Caught a striped bass that my younger son reeled in, and Kurt did a great job coaching and assisting him. There were no delays in going from spot to spot - non stop fishing for 4 hours!

we had an awesome time, very professional, courteous, informative, and stern (lol). even with not so favorable weather, we made the best of it and enjoyed the day fishing, and even landed a few sheepshead & a blackfish.

Drift fishing for flounder in the bay, pretty much had continual action all morning long. Six nice keepers and easily fifty other fish caught and thrown back. Captain and mate were awesome. Great morning with the family.

Captain Mark first mate Mark exceeded our expectations. We have fish in many places and by far the most pleasurable was this trip thanks to the two, their knowledge of the area and tides, and their expert fishing skills. I highly recommend Jesse James and Captain Mark.

We went on the Canyon Trip with Captain Mark and Mike and cannot give them enough praise. Captain was available to chat the entire time leading up to the trip and helped set us up to be flexible so we could capitalize on the best weather. We're happy he did because we ended up going out a day earlier than expected and it was the best possible choice. The boat is set up like a champion, enough space for the four of us to lay down although we caught enough fish that sleeping was the least of our worries. We were in the ocean in no time and starting catching Yellowfin immediately while trolling. We later hit the canyons to chunk and caught more Yellowfin, Mahi, and even a Hammerhead that was released while still in the water. A couple hours of shut eye were needed since the Yellowfin and Mahi were back again at 6 am. Aside from the fishing, Captain Mark and his first mate Mike made the trip. They knew their stuff, worked their butts off, and made sure to include us in any decision on what to do next. Most importantly, they were great guys who were easy to get along with and we were laughing and having a great time the entire trip. I could go on and on but this was everything we could've asked for. This was our first time on the Jessie James but won't be our last!
