    (4 Hour Trip – Inshore - 12:30 PM)

    Great Outing

Captain Brian knew all the places and techniques to get us on the fish. Very knowledgeable and even took us to a little place to find some shark teeth. Will definitely book again when we are out this way.

    Awesome trip!!

Captain J put us on the fish!! 4 hour trip and I honestly don't know how many we boated. I was finally able to catch my first Redfish!! Redfish, Speckled Trout and black drum. It was pretty much non stop action. Captain J was super friendly, shared tons of knowledge about the area, and the fish, and has an amazing personality. Anytime I come tothis area, I will definitely be calling him!!

    So much fun!

We had a great time catching fish with Captain Isaiah! Not only was he incredibly informative, but he worked to meet you at your level of fishing. We were able to catch trout, red fish, flounder, mangrove snapper, snook, catfish, ladyfish, and jacks. Very fun adventure to finish up our vacation!

    (Half Day Trip (AM))

    Captain and Mate were outstanding!

Had family in from NY and although they fished in lakes and rivers they had never been deep sea fishing. We caught large red drum, 25+ Spanish Mackerel and finished up with a couple of 6-8 foot sharks. Oh yeah and they have a couple of “fish” stories about the really big one that got away! Doesn’t get any better than that. Will definitely be going out with them again.

Redfish, also called Red Drum, are a favorite inshore game fish. Anglers love their power, golden color, and the bold spot near the tail. Redfish fishing is all about sight, stealth, and a clean fight. These fish patrol shallow bays, marshes, and flats, and they crush baits with fast runs.

Most trips use inshore fishing with light tackle. Spinning gear and fly fishing both work well. Live shrimp, mullet, or small crabs are classic baits. Spoons, soft plastics, and topwater plugs also produce action. A popping cork makes a chugging sound that calls fish in. Sight casting means you spot the fish first, then place the lure ahead of it.

Expect calm, shallow water and quick strikes. This is a hands-on style that suits kids, first-timers, and seasoned anglers. Tides and low light often bring the best bite. Bring sun protection, a hat, and polarized sunglasses, which help you see fish in the water. Pack snacks, water, and non-marking shoes. Your captain or guide usually provides tackle and bait.

Rules for Redfish change by state and area. Before your trip, check local license and permit needs. Review season dates, harvest rules, and size and bag limits where you plan to fish. When in doubt, ask your captain and follow best catch-and-release practices.
