Most anglers target Tarpon with inshore fishing techniques. Spinning with live bait fish, crabs, or soft plastics works well along mangrove edges and channels. Fly fishing with baitfish-style streamers is popular on the flats. Dawn and dusk often bring active rolling fish and fast action.
Charter trips usually run in calm, protected waters, so they suit beginners and families. Runs are short, and you spend more time casting and less time riding.
