Paul Dumas

Fishing and being on the water have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up fishing the backwaters of South Carolina and the offshore waters of South Florida, developing a passion for everything the ocean has to offer. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to fish in some incredible places, including Hawaii, where I spent time exploring the offshore fishing opportunities the Pacific has to offer. I’m also an active-duty United States Coast Guard member with eight years of service and hold a 100-Ton USCG Master Captain’s License. My career has given me extensive experience operating vessels in all kinds of conditions, navigating coastal and offshore waters, and putting safety first on every trip. For me, fishing has never been just about catching fish. It’s about the excitement of the chase, the early mornings on the water, and the memories made along the way. Whether we’re chasing big fish offshore, working the backwaters for redfish, or simply enjoying a beautiful day on the water, there’s nowhere I’d rather be. I started A to Sea Charters to share that passion with others. My goal is simple: provide a safe, fun, laid-back experience where everyone feels welcome, from first-time anglers to seasoned fishermen. I love what I do, and there’s nothing better than helping someone experience the same excitement and appreciation for the water that I’ve had my entire life. Come as a customer, leave as a friend.
