Besides Trolling there is good jigging for smaller fish and really fun casting with larger stick baits etc. Decent experience and endurance is recommended when casting to get the bait out far out, and quickly in..;)

Local fishing close to the island is great and close by. The captain can arrange for you to stay locally, with a much shorter run to the fishing grounds

Yes. From beginner to experienced. Although best to have some experience but the captain and mates have patience to do some coaching.

Go for your target species early In the morning, as this seems to be the time when the fish are feeding the most, and therefore you get the most action! After about 11am, the sun rises and tides change, so the fish are less active. You don't need to book a full 8 hour day, as in my experience we spent 4 hours catching nothing. If you want to catch marlin, insist on the crew using live bait to increase your chances.
