The dogfish are out and the Halibut are in! Captain Shane put his guests on the Hali today 3 perfect chickens ready to be filleted as well as a couple of monsters battled to the boat and safely released.

HOG-toberfest! These guys cleaned up! Our guests landed today and walked off the plane feeling like it was summer in mid October. The weather couldnt have been better and Captain Shane put these guys on the Halibut. The action was hot and heavy with a double header and both rods going off at once followed by a stomper of a turkey. Great energy on the boat and great day on the water.

Halibut, Whales & a Bear!!! Hog-tober Fest halibut fishing continues to be productive here in Sooke. Our guests dropped in on a perfect Halibut yesterday afternoon on a short trip. We also spotted Humpback whales, porpoises and a black bear on the beach!
