    (Half Day Trip)

    Great fishing experience

My wife and I had a great time. We caught four keeper trout and two nice in the slot redfish as well as lots of smaller trout that were too small to keep but kept it interesting. Can’t say enough good things about the captain who was very helpful and even gave us some extra time. He was ready to go when we got there at 6:35 so we left early and stayed out a little longer since we’re catching fish. We will book with him again in we get back in the area.

    (4 Hour Trip – Lobstering & Fishing)

    Amazing trip!

We had such a great time and will definitely be booking another fishing trip! My son and his friends loved catching lobsters and fishing. We had the best day ever and the captain and his mate went above and beyond! Thank you so much for everything.

    (Half Day Trip)

    Great family experience!

We had a great time! We had two young boys fishing (ages 6 & 5) and two non-fishing kids (2 and infant). Skylar patiently taught our boys how to watch for bites and guided them as they reeled fish in. Total we caught 5 fish on a day when it was tough fishing: black drum, spade fish, and jack crevalle. Great family experience!

    (Captain's Choice - 11:30 AM)

Captain James and Abby were awesome!

I told that I wanted red snapper and grouper and they got us in the right places to get both of these. We caught 4 seed anapper and 3 grouper during our 4 hour trip! It was truly amazing and they were very accommodating! Thanks James and Abby!

ヒラメのギギング釣りについて

Flounder Gigging is a night-time, inshore hunting style that blends patience and precision. Bright lights reveal the sandy bottom, and anglers use a short spear, called a gig, to harvest fish that lie camouflaged in shallow water. It is exciting, hands-on, and a fresh way to explore the flats after sunset.

This technique targets Flatfish, especially Flounder. In some regions you may also hear anglers talk about Fluke, which is a type of Flounder. These fish ambush bait fish on the bottom and often settle into sand or mud, making them perfect for gigging.

The basics are simple. You move slowly through clear, shallow water while wading or from a shallow-draft boat fitted with lights. A gig has one or more barbed tines. When you spot a Flounder’s outline or eye shine, you place the tip just behind the head and make a firm, controlled thrust.

Expect a calm, focused outing that suits beginners and experienced anglers alike. Families enjoy the steady pace and short learning curve. Guides usually supply lights, safety gear, and the right gig. Wear quick-dry clothing and non-slip footwear, and be ready for bugs, warm nights, and occasional splashes. Conditions matter, so clear water, light wind, and a moving tide often help.

Rules for Flounder Gigging vary by location. Always check local fishing license and permit requirements, open seasons, legal methods, and harvest rules before you go. Know how to identify species, measure fish correctly, and follow size and bag limits where they apply. When in doubt, ask your guide and keep only what you plan to eat.
