Je kunt niet fout gaan als je vist met een professional. Schipper William biedt spannende vistrips aan voor vissers van alle niveaus. Hij vist al meer dan 28 jaar in toernooien en begeleidt vissers op Lake Okeechobee.

Schipper William heeft in toernooien gevist tegen enkele van de beste professionals ter wereld. Professionals zoals Roland Martin, Kevin Van Dam, Michael Iaconelli, Shaw Grigsby en Jimmy Houston, om er maar een paar te noemen. Dat brengt een schat aan kennis met zich mee over waar de hotspots zijn en hoe je ze kunt vangen. Hij vist al meer dan 23 jaar op het FLW- en B.A.S.S.-circuit.
Schipper William is 4-voudig Florida B.A.S.S. Nation Angler of the Year, 2-voudig Walmart BFL Champion en 2-voudig Florida B.A.S.S. Nation-State Champion. Inclusief zijn recente 2021 Florida B.A.S.S. Met als primair doel om van jouw trip een zeer plezierige en onvergetelijke ervaring te maken, zal Schipper William hard werken om zijn talent voor jou in te zetten. Hij voorziet je van hoogwaardige hengels, molens, materiaal en kunstaas om een geweldige vangst mogelijk te maken.

Tijdens je dag op het water ga je vangen van Forelbaars met kunstaas en/of wilde shiners met licht materiaal of spinvissen. Vliegvissen is ook een optie – laat het de schipper van tevoren weten.

Fish With a Pro vaart met een 20' Triton Bass-boot. Deze professionele vismachine wordt aangedreven door een gloednieuwe enkele 200 PK Mercury-motor.

Dit vaartuig is uitgerust met een koelbox voor je snacks en verfrissingen.

*Levend aas niet inbegrepen.

*Neem gewoon je hoed, gepolariseerde zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème, eten en drinken mee en je bent helemaal klaar om te gaan.

Highly Recommended, Fishing with a Pro!

My buddy and I had an awesome experience fishing Lake Okeechobee with Captain William Wood. From the start, it was clear that he really knows the lake and understands how to target productive areas. He was able to put us on hot spots throughout the trip and gave us a great chance at quality fish.

Even though my buddy and I have both been fishing for years, Captain William was still extremely helpful and knowledgeable, offering advice, tips, and insight that we both appreciated. He explained what we were doing, why we were fishing certain areas, and how to approach different situations on the water.

One of the highlights of the trip was hearing stories from his days as a pro angler. It added a lot to the experience and made the day feel even more memorable. On top of that, I was able to catch my personal-best bowfin with him, which made the trip even more special.

Overall, it was a great day on the water and definitely a charter we won’t forget. Captain William was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to fish with. We’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to fish Lake Okeechobee.

Really Fun Trip

BIG FISH CHALLENGE!! op April 15, 2026 • 1 volwassene

Even though the bite was a bit slow, I had an awesome time on this trip with Bill! I’m a 60-something bass angler and I learned stuff from Bill. He’s really knowledgeable of the lake and bass fishing in general from his many experiences on the professional tour. At the beginning of the trip I mentioned to Bill I usually don’t talk when I fish because I get locked in. By the end of the trip I couldn’t shut up!  The bite was a bit off but I did catch bass with Bill.  I’m not a bait fishing angler and fished completely artificial. Kind of odd, but I caught two Gar and a Bowfin on Texas rigged worms which I thought really funny for some reason since I traveled all the way to Okeechobee for this “Bucket List” trip. I caught two bass as well. I highly recommend taking a trip with Bill, he works hard for you even if the “Fishing Gods” might be looking the other way!

Yes, sometimes we do experience a slow day on the "Big O". We tried are best, moving around to key areas. But they were not cooperating. It was a pleasure taking you out on this beautiful lake Robert and hope to do it again.

I just have to say Capn William was tremendous.He's knowledgeable,a great instructor,patient,listens to your anticipations and expectation and in our case far exceeded them...As a grandpa.of a 15yo grandson to see his face when Capn William put us on fish and he hooked into a monster 6lb 10 oz Bass.He listened to instuction from Capn William and after a struggle to bring her in,landed her.Did i tell you Capn William also videos ,extremely well one handed, the whole reeling in and boating process for you!!
Grandson was ecstatic,as was I.A few more bass were brought in a 3lber amongst them On what was a freezing day for Floridians I was delighted.
Capn William has a YouTube channel and his video work of wildlife and our trip was A+.

Captain William Put Us On The Fish!

Absolutely loved it! Beautiful sunny day catching bass from morning ‘til mid-afternoon  almost repetitively! Captain William made it fun with his “first, most, biggest” contest and I was able to add the smallest also!  (Is there really small mouth bass in the big O?) Superb day catching dozens between 2 lbs and my 6 lb 6 oz lunker, with several 4 pounders sprinkled in. His expertise made the difference and his camera work captured the great memories we will treasure forever! Mant thanks Captain William and we will be booking with you again very
 soon!

Outstanding Guided Fishing Trip with Captain Bill

We had an incredible time on the water with Captain Bill! The trip exceeded our expectations — we caught 10+ largemouth bass along with several nice catfish, and the action stayed steady all day. Captain Bill was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone had a great experience from start to finish.

If you’re looking for a fun, well-guided fishing trip with a captain who truly knows where the fish are, I highly recommend booking with Captain Bill. We’ll definitely be back!
