Voor je volgende vakantie in Costa Rica wil je zeker een trip boeken bij La Patrona Fishing Charters. Eigendom van en gerund door het echtpaar Randall en Sarah Duran, zij zorgen ervoor dat je een fantastische dag met hen beleeft! Ze hebben een team van toegewijde lokale schippers met tientallen jaren viservaring – ze kijken ernaar uit om je op vis te zetten!

De dag wordt doorgebracht op hun nieuw gebouwde 36' boot met flybridge. Dit is een ruime en comfortabele boot die is uitgerust met gloednieuw veiligheidsmateriaal en navigatieapparatuur. Het hele gezin zal genieten van de tocht naar de visgronden aan boord van deze boot. Er is zelfs een bed als de kleintjes een dutje nodig hebben.

Elke trip biedt iets nieuws! De combinatietrip is geweldig om vissen te combineren met snorkelen. De dagtrip is perfect om erop uit te trekken en biggamevissen te beoefenen. De schipper neemt je graag de hele dag mee inshore vissen, in plaats van naar open zee te gaan, als je dat liever hebt.

Vissen met La Patrona Fishing Charters geeft je de beste kans om Blauwe Marlijn, Witte Marlijn, Zeilvis, Geelvintonijn, Goudmakreel, Snapper, Tandbaars en de Roostervis te vangen – deze wordt hoog aangeschreven in Costa Rica en zal je een geweldige dril bezorgen!

Er is geen minimumleeftijd voor kinderen aan boord en zwemvesten worden verstrekt. Ze zullen vooral genieten van de inshore trip. Hoewel er geen lunch wordt geserveerd op deze trip, is er toch niet veel tijd om te eten, want de actie gaat snel! Al het vismateriaal en de uitrusting zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen.

Op de dagtrippen wordt er bbq-kip met bijgerechten aan boord geserveerd, samen met bier, frisdrank en water. Je hoeft alleen je zonnebrandcrème, zonnehoed en zwemkleding mee te nemen. Vergeet niet om lichte kledinglagen en dekschoenen te dragen.

If you’re even thinking about booking a fishing charter in Costa Rica—stop looking. La Patrona is the one.

From the second we stepped on the boat, everything felt dialed in. The crew was not only insanely skilled but also genuinely fun to be around—super attentive, great energy, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell right away these guys know the water.

We were on fish fast. No wasted time, no guessing—just straight into the action. The captain put us exactly where we needed to be, and the crew made sure every line was perfect. Whether you’re experienced or it’s your first time offshore, they make it easy and exciting.

The boat itself was clean, comfortable, and set up perfectly for a serious day of fishing. Top-tier gear, smooth ride, and everything you need for a full day on the water.

The crew for this charter was exceptional.  Everyone was so kind and hospitable.  We caught fish, had fresh fruit served to us, went snorkeling with a guide and had an amazing lunch on the beach.  A trip to always be remembered thanks to this crew!!  Will definitely be booking with this captain again!!

Nobody in the fleet caught fish that day, but that’s fishing.  Still a Pleasant experience, Boat has a large padded center console that is perfect for a nap.
