Begin je volgende visavontuur met Janie K Sport Fishing! Schipper Jason vist al meer dan 15 jaar in lokale wateren en ook op andere plekken in het land. Hij wordt bijgestaan door eerste maat Steve Viola, die zijn hele leven een fervent visser is geweest. Steve heeft op tonijn gevist tot in Hawaii. Het team brengt jarenlange kennis mee om je de beste ervaring op het water te bezorgen.

Janie K is een 25' walkaround visboot die op enkele minuten afstand ligt van de beste Gestreepte Zeebaars visgronden. Om daar snel te komen, is er een 250 PK Yamaha buitenboordmotor om de boot aan te drijven en met 25-30 knopen te varen. De boot is uitgerust met top Garmin radar/gps en fishfinders om je op de vis te krijgen. Er is genoeg ruimte voor 4 vissers om comfortabel te vissen.

Het seizoen loopt van april tot ongeveer december. Je kunt vissen op lente Gestreepte Zeebaars, Amerikaanse Bot, Black Seabass, Scup, Grijze Trekkervis, herfst Gestreepte Zeebaars en meer. Speciale trips zoals op haai en Goudmakreel kunnen in het seizoen worden toegevoegd.

Je zult geweldig materiaal gebruiken - Shimano hengels gecombineerd met Penn en Avid molens. Alle lijnen zijn nieuw aan het begin van elk seizoen. Vergeet niet je visvergunning mee te nemen en wat snacks en drankjes in te pakken voor de dag.

Niet elke trip kan non-stop actie zijn, hoewel we dat zouden willen, maar we doen ons best om het een onvergetelijke trip voor je groep te maken en op de vis te komen. Je zult een leuke, vriendelijke omgeving hebben met Janie K Sport Fishing.

Absolutely awesome!!

Fall striper oct/nov groups of 4 op November 17, 2024 • 4 volwassenen

This was by far the best private charter trip I've ever had! Jay and Derek made our trip out today beyond enjoyable.  They went above and beyond to not only find the fish but to get us hooked up.  Right around the 6th hour they spotted fish breaking surface and stayed out for 2 more hours and kept us on the fish.  Unlike other charters that call it at the end regardless of the action Jay and Derek made it a point to stay with the fish.  Not only this but they never once asked for any additional money like several other charters have done.  They are true fisherman through and through and i would absolutely recommend them above any other.  My 14 year old son and 74 year old father had the best experience ever and fished a solid 8 hours and enjoyed every last second!! Call Captain Jay if you are looking for an absolutely amazing time on the waters of NJ!!

Thank you so much Tim - it was definitely a tough bite with small opportunities.  You guys all stuck it out at the rail and  fished hard all day for a well deserved catch.   It was truly a pleasure to go fishing with your family and capture that lifetime memory .  Thanks Capt Jay.

Rough waters but the fish didn’t mind

It was very rough but the captain knew what he was doing. We ideally wanted to catch bait but conditions didn’t allow it. So the captain brought trolling gear as a back up and it was a good choice. We landed 15 stripers and lost many more. So as a charter captain I was pleased. The captain handled the rough conditions and brought different types of tackle to adapt to the conditions. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

6 Hour Trip – Fall Striper op October 26, 2023 • 2 volwassenen

Capt Jason is a laid back guy who is very pleasant.  He was the only one out there who found the fish and then worked to find the best way to catch them.  We were so busy catching bass we forgot to eat lunch.  While we fished Capt. Jason concentrated on catching new live bait for us to put on our hooks.  Most bass were too big to keep, but were really fun to catch.  We did end up with one bass just small enough to keep.  Great day!

Epic Day Aboard the Janie K

Spring striper half day /group of 4 op May 16, 2021

My family and I booked a striper trip with the Janie K. Captain Jay and Steve put us on fish the whole time we were out on the Bay.  We caught 11 stripers amongst the four of us.  In particular this was the first time my wife ever fished and she caught (2) 39” stripers.  If you’re looking for an action packed fishing adventure, these are the guys. Captain Jay and Steve went above and beyond to make my family feel comfortable and put us on fish!
