Secret Waters Guide Service is located on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. Book your trip with an Alaskan resident guide and help support the local economy! Most guide businesses on the kenai river are and use non-resident guides and by booking with me you help support the local people and contribute to those who truly care more about the local resource! Come enjoy a professionally guided fishing trip on the world-famous Kenai and Kasilof rivers!

Capt. Kurtis will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 8-hour trips, fishing for 4 Salmon species, and trophy Rainbow Trout, depending on the season. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, trolling, fly fishing, and spinning, depending on your comfort or skill level.

Your Kenai fishing adventure starts on a 20’ Aluminum powerboat that can safely take up to 4 anglers.

All fishing rods, reels, tackle, bait, and/or fly fishing gear will be provided for you. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The captain will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip and local processors are available to vacuum seal, freeze, and pack your fish for safe travel home!

Our fishing trip with Curtis was everything we were hoping for and more! We caught a ton of fish. Curtis was right there with his net to make sure to scoop the fish up for us, which I totally appreciated! Communication was great with Curtis from the minute we booked. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When we return to Alaska next year, I will be booking with Curtis again!

Fantastic day, our first time fishing for Salmon in Alaska.  Kurtis was very knowledgeable and a great teacher for first timers.  Put us right on fish and we limited out!  Great communication and super helpful.  100% recommend.  We will definitely be back and would rebook with Kurtis and Secret Waters Guide Service.

My party of 3 had an amazing experience with Captain Kurtis. The weather was not the best, and the fish were not biting that day, but we still went out and caught 3 Silvers. I would highly recommend Secret Waters!

Kenai Half Day w/ Cpt Kurtis wonderful trip!

5 Hour Trip – Silver Salmon - 10:30 AM op September 30, 2022 • 1 volwassene

1st time ever fishing the Kenai.  Showed up with nothing but a dry bag w/ extra clothes and munchies, and pair of on-sale rain paints purchased the night before.  Kurtis had us on the water in no time headed for the fish.  Having not fished light tackle and spinning gear in a long while, he had me casting like an old pro with some great advice and pointers!  Had the first fish onboard in under an hour.  He even made sure the sun came out for us!

Will definitely be calling him again!  Great trip!  5 Stars!
