We bieden een onvergetelijke viservaring omringd door adembenemende natuur en overvloedige wilde dieren, waar je kunt genieten van zowel de spanning van het vissen als de schoonheid van het kanaal.
Onder leiding van onze ervaren schipper verken je de rijke flora en fauna van het Panamakanaal, waarbij je unieke soorten vanaf de boot kunt waarnemen terwijl je vist in deze rustige wateren. De tour biedt de kans om enorme koopvaardijschepen door het kanaal te zien varen terwijl je vist op Binnensnoek, Tarpon en de felbegeerde Pauwoogbaars. Afhankelijk van je doelwit gebruiken we technieken zoals bodemvissen, trollen, popping en spinvissen.
Je avontuur vindt plaats aan boord van een comfortabele 17' Logic Marine boot, met ruimte voor maximaal 3 vissers. at first we were disappointed bc there was no trolling motor, but they informed us that it had broken a few days earlier on a tree, and that peacock bass would not be frightened by the boat motor the way we are used to bass at home. and they were right. we caught a few peacock bass right at the beginning. then my husband caught an oscar! the captain caught a baby snook, as well. we saw tons of iguanas and even a crocodile. the birds and howling monkeys sounded so cool all day. ive always thought our lake at home was beautiful, but I’ve been ruined now, because that tropical rainforest backdrop mkes you feel like youre in jurassic park! caught a few more peacock bass - all in all, it was a great day of fishing!

Fishing at Gatun Lake was simply outstanding. From the first cast to the last catch, the entire day was filled with excitement and pure joy. The scenery is breathtaking — surrounded by lush rainforest and the iconic Panama Canal — and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the species.
The bite was on fire! Peacock bass, snook, kept us busy all day long. Every catch was a new thrill, and Captain JD made the whole experience smooth, fun, and educational.
This is a must-do adventure for any fishing lover visiting Panama. 🌅

Gatun lake is a very beautiful place with the added bonus of passing by the huge ships going through the Panama Canal.
We caught some large specimens of peacock bass early on, then nothing for quite some time but we tried many spots until we found a spot that had yet again plenty of fish, even an Oscar! Overall a great experience, our guide was friendly, patient and well equipped. Definitely recommend!

Jose worked really hard to put me on fish. It started out rough but towards the end we started to catch fish. I finished with eight peacock bass and lost a nice sizes snook. It was a cool experience fishing in that area. It didn’t break the bank and would definitely use them again.

JD replied promptly in English and picked us up on time, the app said he was the captain so we were not worried. He dropped us off with Eduardo who was our actual captain and he spoke no English. That being said, the fishing trip was great, we caught peacock bass only and got to see the monkeys and enjoy a couple of hours on the lake. The description said there would be beer, water, soda, and snacks. There was only water and soda. I complained and when we got off the boat they offered us a beer. Eduardo was very nice! Thank you for a great experience.
