Leer Quepos kennen zoals nooit tevoren wanneer je een trip boekt bij Grey's Fishing Tour.
Hier kun je een lijn uitgooien in inshore, bij de kust, en open zee wateren, inclusief enkele plekken die alleen de locals kennen. Het is gebruikelijk om te vliegvissen, en zo maak je kennis met deze wateren. Je kunt ook jiggen en bodemvissen, bodemvissen, spinvissen of een popper uitwerpen voor je vangst. Greivin zorgt voor hengels en molens, evenals kunstaas en levend aas.
Soorten zoals Grote Geelstaart, Stille Ocean-Barracuda, Bonito, Goudmakreel, Rode Tandbaars, Afrikaanse Pompano, Zwarte Marlijn, Gestreepte Marlijn, Witte Marlijn, Blauwe Marlijn, Zeilvis, en meer bewonen deze wateren, afhankelijk van de tijd van het jaar.
Alle vis die tijdens de trip wordt gevangen en mag worden meegenomen, is van jou. Greivin zal zelfs je vangst voor je schoonmaken, zodat het makkelijk te koken is. Dat is pas een verse maaltijd! Je vismachine zal een 28' AquaSport sportvissersboot zijn die plaats biedt aan maximaal 5 passagiers.
Niet inbegrepen in de trip is de $17pp wekelijkse visvergunning (gekocht bij de jachthaven voor vertrek) & de fooi voor de bemanning (15-20% is gebruikelijk in Costa Rica).
Je wordt aangemoedigd om lichte kleding te dragen & schoeisel dat geschikt is voor op de boot. Het is nooit een slecht idee om zonnebrandcrème en zonnebril mee te nemen, bij regen of zonneschijn.
Greivin heeft wat snacks en drankjes voor je en verwelkomt vissers van alle leeftijden op deze trips, inclusief kinderen. Vergeet niet te vragen of er zwemvesten op kindermaat beschikbaar zijn; anders moet je je eigen zwemvest meenemen.

Full Day Trip – Offshore op May 1, 2026 • 2 volwassenen
Greivin and Danny are a great couple of guys, and skilled fishermen! We payed for 5 days of 8 hours offshore fishing, and got what we travelled so far for! 10.000 kilometers each way to fish with them, and we have no regrets, and are already thinking of a new trip. They both work hard to get us on the fish, and we caught 6 Sailfish and 2 60-70 pound yellowfin tunas., along with some groupers, snappers etc. Last tuna was on some light fishing gear, and it took more than an hour to reel that fish in....we even had help from Danny at the end, as we were both exhausted 😆
Danny, by the way, must be born with kneepads, and suction cups under his feet 😊 Capt. Greivin and Danny gets our best recommendations!

Awesome Captain and AMAZING experience
Half Day Trip – Inshore (AM) op April 25, 2026 • 4 volwassenen
Grey's fishing charter was an amazing Pacific ocean experience. Capt Greivin and his mate were extremely patient and informative on our fishing charter. Whether you're an advanced fisherman, or beginner they have all the gear and tips for a great catch. We were able to catch a Rooster fish, Pacific Tarpon, and Jack. The ride out to the fishing spot was a breathtaking view of the Pacific coastline. Captain Grey and his mate were both friendly and helpful to their guests, as well as other captains sharing the ocean. Grey even gave our left over bait to another boat Captain as we headed back to the dock. Everyone seems to help each other out on the water. Thank you for the beautiful experience, and we hope to see you both on our next fishing charter.

Full Day Trip – Offshore op March 11, 2026 • 2 volwassenen
We fished for sailfish for 8 hours and raised 8 fish, landing 4. It was an unbelievable day on the water and hands down THE BEST fishing experience I’ve ever had and possibly the best day of my life.
As a fish biologist and lifelong angler, I’ve fished with a lot of guides for alot of species, and Grey and Danny are hands down the best fishermen I’ve ever gone out with. Their ability to find fish, read the water, and work as a team was incredibly impressive.
Their boat and gear were immaculate and very well maintained, and the entire operation was extremely professional from start to finish. I was also especially impressed by how conservation-minded they are and the excellent care they take with fish handling.
They also speak very good English, which made communication easy and the whole trip even more enjoyable.
If you’re planning a fishing trip and want an incredible day with a highly skilled and professional crew, I cannot recommend Grey enough he is the man you want to go with!

Bottom Fishing Bonanza
Half day bottom fishing op December 23, 2025 • 5 volwassenen
Captain Greivin is terrific. We stopped at two spots, caught snowy Grouper, Snapper, and Congrio, fresh fish for Christmas Dinner.
The boat is smooth and stable, when my son felt a bit seasick he stopped the boat so we could take a pause to swim in the beautiful water and cool down.
He brought a full cooler of water and Cokes, snacks, and the first mate (Alfredo?) sliced up pineapple and watermelon for a delicious sback.
They gutted the fish, made filmets from the Congrio, and we cooked the fish per Caltain Greivin’s tecipe for dinner ait our Airbnb the same night.
Delicioso!
We’ll have Grouper and Snapper fish tacos for Christmas dinner, servibg 11 guests.
We had a great trip.

Best Fishing Charter Ever!

We had an incredible time with Captain Greivin and First Mate Daniel. Both fluent in English and incredibly polite and professional. The boat was spotless, well-maintained and well-equipped. They were both highly knowledgeable. They even provided us with breakfast, snacks, and plenty of drinks. The booking process was incredibly easy and seamless.
