Welkom bij Fun Coast Fishing, waar uw strandvisdromen werkelijkheid worden. Gevestigd in Volusia County, FL, bieden wij begeleide strandvistrips op maat voor alle niveaus, van beginners tot ervaren vissers.

Wat Wij Bieden:

Professionele Begeleiding: Onder leiding van onze gecertificeerde Florida Friendly Fishing Guide bieden wij persoonlijke instructie en tips om uw visvaardigheden te verbeteren en het meeste uit uw tijd op het strand te halen.
Eersteklas Locaties: Toegang tot de beste lokale visplekken, zorgvuldig gekozen voor een onvergetelijke en succesvolle uitstap.

Afhankelijk van het seizoen kunt u Trommelvis, Blauwbaars, Amerikaanse Bot, Paardmakreel, Ladyfish, Pompano Horsmakreel, Redfish, Gevlekte Koningsmakreel, Wijting en wat er verder maar bijt vangen.

De gevangen vis is van u om te houden als u dat wilt, zolang deze binnen de wettelijke limieten valt. Vis kan tegen een extra vergoeding in filets worden gesneden of gratis (ongesneden/niet schoongemaakt) in verzegelde zakken worden geplaatst om mee te nemen naar lokale restaurants voor bereiding.

U moet vóór de trip een zoutwatervisvergunning van de staat kopen. Deze informatie is online beschikbaar via FWC of u kunt contact opnemen met Fun Coast Fishing onderaan de pagina voor hulp.

Alle parkeerlocaties kosten $20 per voertuig en moeten door de klant worden betaald. Gewoonlijk boeken klanten het park dat het dichtst bij hun verblijfplaats ligt, maar u kunt gerust de locatie kiezen die u het meest aanspreekt. Zoek uw gids bij het einde van de toegangsweg naar het strand.

Awesome Day Surf Fishing

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Matt Liberto and his surf fishing service! From the moment we met on the beach, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about fishing. He took the time to explain the gear, read the surf, and share tips that made a huge difference in our casting and bait presentation.

His patience and encouragement made the whole trip relaxing and fun, and we learned more in a few hours than I had in years of trying on my own. The highlight was definitely seeing my son land a beautiful shark and seeing my daughters land a few fish as well. 

If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in making your fishing trip a success, I highly recommend booking with Matt. I’ll definitely be back to fish again.

Our trip with Fun Coast Fishing was fantastic from start to finish. Captain Matt is the kind of guide you want on the beach with you, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the local waters from Ormond Beach down to the Canaveral National Seashore.

The setup was impressive with top quality surf fishing gear, prime location, a comfortable beach camp with chairs and shade, and everything ready when we arrived. Matt is certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid, which adds a level of safety you do not always find on fishing trips. He explained everything clearly, made sure we were comfortable, and kept the experience fun for all skill levels.

We caught a variety of fish and learned a lot about surf fishing techniques. Matt knows the best spots and the right tides to fish. He offers filleting for a small fee or can bag your catch so local restaurants can prepare it fresh, a great touch that makes the experience even better.

The business is veteran owned and connected with respected fishing organizations like Florida Surf Casters, Salt Strong, and Halifax Sport Fishing Club, which says a lot about their credibility and commitment to the sport.

If you want a safe, well run, and truly enjoyable beach fishing experience in Volusia County, this is it. We left with fish in the cooler, great memories, and plans to book again. Highly recommend.

Every year, our family visits my sister’s home and we try to find something new and exciting for our teenage sons to experience. This year, we booked a fishing trip with Captain Matt—and it was easily the highlight of our visit!

From the very beginning, Matt was incredibly responsive and helpful. He answered every question my sister had, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the trip, he was not only professional but also full of energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm.

I will preface by saying we did t catch fish.  But it wasn’t due to lack of effort.  Matt does a great job teaching and keeps fresh bait on and ready.  We had young kids and he did a great job with them and came prepared to make an outing with kids a success despite not catching.    A great morning by the ocean!

I have never surfed fish,  always off a pier or boat.  I always wanted to learn how to walk out and surf fish.  Captain Mike will not only do it for you if that's what you prefer,  he will walk you through step by step learning process if that's what you prefer.  Which is what I liked.  The appointment app wasn't working the day before so I called him and since he wasn't already booked he got me in that day.
