Schipper Connor vist al lange tijd op gevlekte ombervis, redfish, Amerikaanse bot, schaapskopbrasem, snapper, haaien, batjauwvis en verschillende andere lokale vissen en kent hun patronen. Hij staat erom bekend die kennis te gebruiken om te vissen op wat er in overvloed is en de beet erin te houden!
Backyard Charters vaart met een 22 ft Triton Seaflight boot met alle benodigdheden. De schipper kan maximaal 4 gasten tegelijk meenemen, inclusief kinderen. Schipper Connor vindt het geweldig om kinderen vis te laten vangen! Laat het hem van tevoren weten, zodat hij de juiste zwemvesten beschikbaar kan hebben.
De charter omvat aas, materiaal, hengels/molens, brandstof, visvergunningen en ijs. Het is altijd verstandig om een zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème (geen spray) en een hoed mee te nemen. Als je van plan bent vis mee naar huis te nemen, neem dan een kleine koelbox mee met je eten en drinken erin. Na de trip kan Schipper Connor je vangst voor je fileren, in een ziplock doen en op ijs in je koelbox leggen! (Fooi voor het schoonmaken van vis wordt zeer gewaardeerd)

Captain Conor is by far one the best, if not the best family friendly captain to charter. I had a charter with him last year when i took my 4 year old nephew fishing and he made it the best charter for us. we loved it so much that I took my nieces this gone weekend. the weather wasn’t the best but he went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. we caught more fish than we thought we would ever catch. the kids want to go back again soon but only if it’s with him. he’s a great person and an even better captain who enjoys and knows what he’s doing.
if you have a chance to book with him, consider yourself lucky because you’ll have the trip of your life.

Daughter’s first salt water fishing trip!

I cannot say it enough- Captain Connor is absolutely amazing! We have fished with him before and both times had a great experience. This trip we took my mother and 6-year-old daughter. She had the best time. Connor took care of us like family. He constantly made sure we had bait and cast out the line. He also taught us the technique to hook the fish. He was able to explain it easily-my daughter caught many fish. He knew all the good fishing spots and kept us in the loop of the plan. We kept 6 fish that were legal size but probably caught 25-30 total. We lost count. I actually got a blister from reeling in so many fish. By far a good battle wound and story. We caught red fish, flounder, black drum, sheep head, and some others. Connor is easy to get along with and very professional. I highly recommend booking with him. We will continue to fish with him when we visit the coast.

My husband and I were recommended Captain Conner to take us on a chartered fishing trip. Cpt Connor was early and had everything ready for us. He’s super friendly, easy to get along with, and very knowledgeable. The boat is very comfortable and as described. Conner knew the best places to fish and assisted us with bait and casting. He was descriptive of how to catch the fish and cheered us on. We had a blast catching speckled and white trout. Cpt Conner had a positive attitude and made sure to give us the best chance to catch fish. I highly recommend booking with him for family or friends. We have already spoken to him about going again in January. Side note-he was professional and made sure all our fish were of legal size. I appreciated his respect of the rules.

Great Day Fishing! Great Captain!
Half Day Trip – Inshore op June 14, 2025 • 2 volwassenen • 2 kinderen
We had a great trip with Captain Connor! He was extremely prepared, knowledgeable about the current conditions & fishing patterns, and knows where to put you on the fish. He took me and my 3 sons (ages 8, 11, 14) out for an AM trip, and we all caught multiple fish and had an amazing time. He was patient, funny, and kind to my boys, and put a great deal of effort into showing them how to fish for the targeted species. After filling the icebox, we ended up in a spot near a beach, and he even took the time to show my boys how to hunt for crabs on the beach. (that is rare for a fishing captain, and shows his level of care). They loved it! Overall, the trip was easily 10 of 10, and we can't wait to go back out with Connor next time.

We had an amazing fishing experience! We spent the day fishing for speckled trout and couldn’t have asked for a better catch. Captain Connor knew exactly where to take us, and we were reeling them in one after another. What really made the trip special was how Captain Connor was with the kids. He was patient, encouraging, and made sure everyone had a chance to be involved. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Highly recommend this charter for families or anyone looking for a fun and productive day on the water!
