Ervaar de sensatie van sportvisserij in Costa Rica, waar het water rijk is aan marlin, zeilvissen, geelvintonijn, mahi-mahi, snappers, hanen, groupers en nog veel meer soorten!

Uw deskundige en ervaren kapitein en matroos zullen van uw dag op het water een geweldige ervaring maken.

Lokale vissoorten zijn onder andere marlin, zeilvissen, geelvintonijn, mahi-mahi, cubera snapper, hanen en meer, afhankelijk van wanneer u gaat. U kunt verwachten te spinvissen, sleepvissen, jigging, bodemvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerds in dit gebied. Black Snapper II biedt ook vliegvissen aan, maar u moet wel uw eigen vliegvisuitrusting meenemen.

Wilt u het hele gezin naar buiten krijgen? Kinderen zijn absoluut welkom! We hebben reddingsvesten op kindermaat, maar voor peuters kunt u het beste uw eigen meenemen. We verzorgen snacks en drankjes, evenals een broodje voor de lunch om u de hele trip door van energie te voorzien!

Uw dag begint aan boord van een gemodificeerde 26' Ocean Master center console die plaats biedt aan maximaal 6 passagiers. De boot is uitgerust met outriggers, een vechterstoel en alles wat u nodig heeft voor een productieve dag op het water. Er is een privé toilet aan boord voor uw gemak. Hengels, reels en vismateriaal worden verstrekt, evenals kunstaas. Levend aas is een optie, maar moet tijdens de trip worden gevangen.

Er zal een eerste matroos aan boord zijn om ervoor te zorgen dat uw trip soepel verloopt. Een fooi van 15–20% is gebruikelijk om uw waardering voor hun harde werk te tonen.

Voordat u aan boord komt, moet u een lokale visvergunning kopen voor iedereen in uw groep. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of u kunt het aan de kapitein vragen.

Vergeet niet om zonnebrandcrème (geen spray), een hoed en een zonnebril mee te nemen. Er zullen wat drankjes aangeboden worden, maar laat de kapitein weten als u uw eigen drankjes wilt meenemen. Alcohol is met mate toegestaan. Er zijn maaltijden en wat lichte snacks inbegrepen aan boord.

Highly Recommend Black Snapper 2

3/4 Day Trip – Offshore op March 17, 2026 • 3 volwassenen

My wife, son, and I went offshore for the first time yesterday on the Black Snapper 2, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We caught Mahi Mahi that we’re bringing home to grill and had a blast catching multiple Sailfish throughout the trip. For a first offshore trip, it couldn’t have gone better.

Captain Julian and first mate Angel were outstanding. They worked hard the entire trip to make sure we were comfortable, having fun, and always in the action. From helping with lines to making sure we had everything we needed, they were professional, friendly, and clearly know what they’re doing.

The boat was well stocked with plenty of food, snacks, and beverages, which made the day even more enjoyable.

The booking process was also very smooth. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made planning simple. Getting our fishing license the day of the trip was quick and easy as well.

Parking at the marina was free, easy, and secure, so we didn’t have to think twice about leaving the car there.

My only regret is that we only had time for one trip this visit. Next time we’re back, we’ll definitely be booking another trip with them.

Highly recommend Black Snapper 2 if you’re looking for a great offshore fishing experience.

Beautiful day on the water

Half Day Trip – Inshore op December 30, 2025 • 2 volwassenen

My wife and I wanted to do a day of near shore fishing targeting snapper/jacks/rooster or whatever. we soent a good hour and a half looking for live bait with no luck before switching to trolling up and down the beach and in front of a river mouth for anither hour or so with no luck. Not wanting to get skunked, we shifted gears and went a little deeper to troll for billfish/mahi. they did finally get us on a sailfish that put on a good show.

We were a little disappointed in the lack of action early in but that is fishing sometimes. Captain Eric and his mate Snacker made the day a fun one anyway with good food and cold drinks. they even stayed out about an hour extra trying everything they could to get more fish in the boat. 

I wouldn't shy away from booking with these guys again.

Catch of the day!

Eric and Nekar were an exceptional Captain and First Mate.  They were knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating.  Our first booking got cancelled and they scheduled our trip in less than 24hours.  Our family of 5 adults all caught several fish. Mahi mahi, Sailfish, and my husband was even able to reel in a big Snapper! It was the catch of the day and was delicious for our dinner.

Good day on the water

Full Day Trip – Offshore op February 24, 2026 • 6 volwassenen

Booked the 8 hr offshore day with Pez Loco for 6 grown men. Started off the morning looking for some sailfish which we successfully caught 4. then proceeded on to try and catch some tuna as the schools were working in the area. unfortunately could not get any. The captain and crew were great, the group I was with are avid fisherman and the Captin was letting us do alot of what we wanted, including letting me in the water to get better images and videos  The food was also great, had breakfast burritos, chips, sandwiches for lunch and plenty of drinks. The gear was good and the whole trip was a blast. the Marina and area was super nice as well. I would reccomend this team of boats to anyone.

The boat was well suited to fishing for a couple.  The crew was competent and friendly. Parking is a minute walk from the desk to buy a license, and Captain Eric picked us up while we're signing up.  The boat provided breakfast burritos and later sandwiches for lunch. Nice experience.
