Gezinsvriendelijk en huisdiervriendelijk. Neem uw hond mee. South Padre Outfitters is er om uw visdromen waar te maken! Ze nemen u mee vissen op de wateren van South Padre Island met schipper Ryan Falls. Met meer dan 40 jaar ervaring in deze wateren is schipper Ryan een uitstekende keuze als visgids in SPI. Hij is een warm, deskundig en geduldig persoon die het geweldig vindt om gezinnen mee te nemen vissen.

Schipper Ryan neemt u en uw gezin mee vissen aan boord van zijn 24' Dargel flats boot, gerestaureerd in 2025. Deze schoonheid voor ondiep water wordt aangedreven door een 250 PK Suzuki-motor, met een maximale kruissnelheid van 55 knopen. U verspilt geen enkele vistijd met dit vaartuig, want deze snelheid betekent dat u snel van productieve locatie kunt wisselen. Eenmaal daar aangekomen, kunt u met de twee uitkijktorens van het vaartuig, gelegen aan de boeg en achtersteven, de vis met uw eigen ogen zien.

En nu de vis! Tailing Redfish en Gevlekte Ombervis, bodemvissen zoals Amerikaanse Bot, en de veelzijdige Grijze Zeebaars (Grijze Snapper) zijn allemaal te vinden op South Padre Island. De meeste soorten zijn het hele jaar door aanwezig en allemaal heerlijk om te eten. Om de vis te vangen, gooit u meestal kunstaas uit, maar u kunt ook levend aas gebruiken indien nodig. Als het uw eerste keer vissen is en u graag wilt leren, wees dan niet verlegen om schipper Ryan om advies te vragen.

De boot heeft een leefbak en een ijskist aan boord, evenals alle visuitrusting die u nodig heeft – hengels, molens, materiaal en kunstaas. U hoeft alleen een Texas-visvergunning met een zoutwaterstempel mee te nemen. Let op: het is handig om een hoed, gepolariseerde zonnebril, zonnebrandcrème, drankjes, snacks en een koelbox die groot genoeg is voor al uw vangst mee te nemen!

During our time actually fishing, the action was nearly constant. We estimate we caught over 100 sea trout. They were all small, but very willing. Having dolphins surfacing around the boat was an added bonus, as well as adding excitement to pulling in fish! Fortunately, they never did manage to grab a fish on the line. 
Ryan is very knowledgeable about the area in general (he also runs non-fishing bay tours), and fishing in particular. His stories of friends, family, and experiences will keep you well entertained. He has a good network of other captains, and keeps up with current conditions and fish activity. While we didn’t need it, I expect this comes in handy when the fishing is tough. 
The boat is well equipped, and is a real hoot to ride in when Ryan opens it up. We were out a ways, and probably had 30 minutes each way to our fishing spot. Plenty of time to enjoy the speed, waves and sun.

Mr Ryan was a great company,   great captain in his knowledge and ability and companion.   we had a great time with my family,  brother,   in laws and grandson.

here is the however!   this is to give the feedback to Ryan and all captains,   in my business experience,  if you are a mechanic,  you have the best tools,  if customer service,   a great smile and knowledgeable in the product you offer,   if you are a fishing captain,   have the best nets to catch the fish,   to avoid loosing the few fish customer may catch,   the best and smooth fishing rods,   the shiniest hooks so customer that do not have that much knowledge on fishing do not have to work with faulty equipment.      i had a previous trip with another captain and we had to be towed back due to engine failure.   another time a captain and crew did not keep count of fish and people that flew for the fishing experience and got their limit,   did not get any fish because the were polite to let others get their fish first and they went back home empty handed.

just do your best,   best equipment,  best knowledge of area,   so customer do not walk with gaps and disappointment in their experience,   we can not expect the fish to catch that hook every time we cast or expect the biggest fish but for sure the best effort to make customer come back!!!

i have always been working to avoid  mediocrity in my industry!   never that mañana!  mañana!   and i share my moto!!  to push others to try their best!  echa toda la carne al asador!!!

i will recommend Captain Ryan!!   i will give a chance!!
there is always room for improvement!!

Ryan is a great guide and very personable! he is excellent and i would highly recommend him to beginners or advanced anglers! we limited out on trout in the first hour we were on the water!

Fishing with Captain Ryan was a lot of fun. He knows the area like the back of his hand and will definitely put you on fish. We saw quite a bit of action, and got some fish in the cooler to prove it. He's also very friendly and loves what he does. Highly recommended!

This was our second fishing trip with Captain Ryan. He knows exactly where to put you on the fish. From the time we started fishing until the time we left the bites never stopped. We caught our limit in trout. It was an enjoyable, productive, fishing trip! We will definitely be back!
