(4 Hour Trip – Inshore Fishing)

    Trip of a lifetime!

We caught some huge sharks. The fight alone was worth the trip and pulling them to the boat was priceless!!

    Awesome experience!!!!

Awesome trip. Captain found about 5 lbs of Shrimp, 25+ Spanish Mackerel and about 4 dozen Crabs. The first mate Chris made it a hands on experience. Meant a lot to us Andy was the 1yr anniversary of our fathers passing so we will be doing this every year.

    (6 Hour Trip- Choose Activities)

    very cool trip out!!

We booked a 6 hour trip. We started out slow on the shrimp the first try and switched to fishing. We got on the Spanish mackerel and after catching around 30 they switched back to trying to get some shrimp. This time we were able to get a fair share of shrimp .Then we checked crab traps and we were able to get a basket of blue crabs. Now its time for a seafood dinner. Thanks Captain John and first mate Chris for a great day out!! Dont hesitate to book your trip with these guys!!

Shrimp are small, tasty crustaceans that live in many coastal waters. Anglers love Shrimp fishing because it fills coolers with fresh bait and great food. It is simple, social, and easy to learn. You can do it from shore, docks, piers, or a small boat.

Common methods include throwing a cast net in bays and estuaries during moving tides. A cast net is a circular net you throw by hand. Many anglers use dip nets around dock lights after dark. Push nets work on shallow flats, where you gently push a V-shaped net along the bottom. Baited traps or pots can be set in channels and checked later. Night Shrimp fishing is popular, and green lights help draw Shrimp close.

Expect calm, inshore waters and short trips at dawn, dusk, or night. This is hands-on and a little messy, which kids often love. Bring non-slip shoes, a headlamp, and polarized sunglasses for daytime sighting. Pack a small cooler with ice, a bucket, and an aerator if you plan to keep Shrimp alive for bait. Gloves help with shells and bycatch. Work quickly to chill your catch for the best quality.

Rules for Shrimp fishing change by area. Before your trip, check local fishing license and permit needs. Review open seasons, daily harvest limits, and gear rules for nets and traps. Some places have mesh-size rules, night-light rules, or closed zones. Always follow local regulations and handle any bycatch with care.
