I was born and raised in Key West, and started fishing with my grandfather at the tender age of 8 years old. My grandfather taught me how to fish, and instilled in me a great love and respect for the ocean. As I grew I knew that this is what I wanted to do with my life. As soon as I was able to shake my parents notion that one day I would head off to college, I began to fish in earnest. I started in the commercial industry trapping, diving, and hand lining. Though I enjoyed that life immensely I also enjoy showing people a good time, and showing off my craft. which led me into the charter boat industry. I went from first mate to owner of 4 charter boats at historical charterboat row. I have learned from the best in the industry, and have passed my knowledge onto my crews. I believe that all fishermen are show offs. They know that it is not easy to go fishing and actually catch fish, and that's what they do. Come on out and hang with our showoffs, I promise you will be entertained.

    Lot’s of fun with Captain Steve and Wahoo Will

    We joined two trips with Captain Steve and Wahoo Will, and both were fantastic. We caught tuna on the first day and six mahi mahi on the second! Beyond the great fishing, what really stood out was Captain Steve's friendly personality and the interesting information he shared throughout the trip. Wahoo Will was nonstop from start to finish, hardworking, attentive, and always ready to help. A perfect Key West fishing experience. We’ll sure fish with them again!

    Trophy Fish & Mahi Mahi

    We booked a shared charter, which saved costs, however we rotated turns to reel in catches. DJ was our mate and was phenomenal, he had 4-6 lines going at all times. We did a 3/4 day charter, two of us then 4 others also were booked. everyome was friendly and we all felt ownership of all the catches (although DJ really did most of the work). We split the edible fish amongst parties that wanted some, and although only 2 mahi keepers, it was enough for everyone to have a small meal (which we’ll tske to one of many restaurants that will gril it for us). We rotated turns reeling, i had one decent fish then a dud. We got a few mahi mahi, two non-keepers and two keepers. i know many trips come back unfruitful to no fault of captain or mate, we ended up the best boat out there with mahi & a trophy sailfish. another group brought a full cooler with drinks and food, we brought snacks, a few drinks and suscreen, boat had waters on ice for us.

    What an amazing time we all had! They took us to some great fishing spots and made sure we all caught something. the captain and crew made the day. They helped us out alot and were very skilled at their job. The crew had the best personalities, it just made it that more fun! i highly recommend them to beginners and well experienced people because they are that good at their jobs!! The one thing that stands out is even if you never have fished before they make you feel at ease and show you what to do and they dont rush you.I cant wait to go again. This is the fourth time we have gone and each time is awesome!

    Great trip!!

    The crew is super nice and friendly, I was running late and they waited to make sure I got there. There was only small fish, but it’s expected because it’s the slow season. The first mate Ricky was great, super informative, and he took care of everything to make sure everybody was comfortable. The captain navigated the rain and waters great. I would very much recommend the trip for people who want to experience it

    Conchenstein

    We had an awesome 6 hour charter fishing trip aboard the Conchenstein with Capt. Ron and Roscoe. The water was calm, the fishing was great, and we landed a 36 inch barracuda along with some mackerel and several other types of fish. The crew treated us very well from start to finish and were informative, friendly, and clearly experienced. They worked hard to keep us on fish and made the entire trip enjoyable for everyone. Overall, it was a fantastic charter experience and we would absolutely recommend Capt. Ron and Roscoe to anyone looking to fish in the Keys.

Het weer wordt koeler en de drukte neemt af. Dit is de beste tijd van het jaar om een Slam te scoren op de flats. Het weer kan onvoorspelbaar zijn met orkanen, maar het vissen maakt het de moeite waard.

Hurricane Irma Update

dec. 18, 2025 • Key West
Hurricane Irma is long gone thank God, but the aftermath is in full swing. Key West as well as all the Keys have been dealt a catastrophic blow. We are down, but we are far from out. To say that it has been hard Is an understatement, but thanks to the heroes that are working hard to restore our resources we are on the mend. It has been announced that we are trying for a October 20th re-opening of the Keys to our northern friends. We are all working hard towards that goal, as we cant wait to see you. In the meantime say a prayer for all the hurricane victims who are suffering through the aftermath of natures fury. Follow us on Facebook to see some videos of the storm.

Wahoo Bonanza !!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and if you are not in Key West yet all I can say is why not. You wont find many cozy fireplaces here, but then again who needs them being located so close to the end of the rainbow. If you are tired of that same old traditional turkey dinner, you should be in Key West where the elusive wahoo have made a Thanksgiving appearance. On a recent trip our customers experienced some great wahoo action, and plan on eating the turkey of the ocean for dinner. The other white meat.
