Captain Tim Meador was born and raised in Sweeny, Texas and presently resides there with his wife and kids. He grew up hunting and fishing along the South Texas coast, bays, bayous and sanctuaries. He has always been passionate about the pristine beauties of the Galveston/Freeport Bay complex. To this day he is still amazed by the place he gets to call his office. Captain Tim has been a professional guide for over 20 years and has had the privilege of guiding all over the country. Unable to deny his love of fishing for trophy Trout, Redfish, and Flounder; he finds himself drawn back home to guide in what he considers to be one of the best trout sanctuaries on the Texas Coast.

    Great Trip with Capt Tim

    We had a trip with Capt Tim post Tropical Storm so I wasn’t expecting much. Tim worked really hard to get us a limit of trout which we did and was able to experience a Jack Crevalle which was awesome. Tim is not the kind of guide where if it’s slow fishing, he’s going to just sit in one spot hoping you catch some. He’s constantly rotating spots to get you on fish, the man really works hard to get you on em. I felt like I was just fishing with one of my buddies, today. I HIGHLY recommend Captain Tim and will be fishing with him anytime I’m in the area.

    Great trip, large trout and others

    We had a great 6-hour trip. trip. Captain Tim took us to some great spots. We limited out on speckled trout and even caught a few oversized ones which we released. Also caught redfish, skipjacks, black drum, and of course a few proverbial hard heads and gas tops. The weather was iffy but Captain Tim stayed in touch with us every day to monitor if the weather was going to cooperate.

    First Saltwater Trip for Twin Grandsons.

    Had an awesome time with Captain Tim Meador. We limited on speckled trout with most running 17-19 inches. Released several over 20. The boys really enjoyed Captain Tim showing them the ropes on catching trout with croakers. A limit of trout on their first trip, hard to beat that.

    captain Tim was a good time! it doesn’t take long to know when someone knows their stuff. we caught trout, reds, shark and sting ray with a few slip jack mixed in. we limited out on trout by 8:30am. what made it a special trip for me is i had my grandkids with me.

    Captain Tim was great frim the start. He called shortly after booking online, again the day before, told us exactly what time and locations to meet. Tim put us on the fish znd limited in no time!

Wat bijt er aan met Meador’s Guide Service – Freeport in Freeport

Open zee vissen dat net zo goed blijft als altijd – vind gewoon een garnalenboot, gooi als een gek chum uit, en kijk wat je vangt. Grote Zwartpunthaaien, enorme Stierrode Redfish, Koningsmakreel, Batjauwvis, en nog veel meer liggen daar voor het oprapen.
