  My family of six had an awesome time! Captain Stephen and Deck Hand Christian are defiantly pros that know where to get you on fish. This was the first time for the family so Christian had to teach us the basics. We had 'Fish On' within a minute or so at our first stop. When the hits slowed down for even just a couple minutes Captain had us off to the next spot and Christian had our hooks baited and ready to drop as soon as we stepped out of the cabin. We caught 50-60 fish, 40 or so keepers. 79lbs of total keepers. 4 Red snapper, 3 red grouper, mostly vermilion snapper and some others. Only 4 of us fished at every stop so I'm sure we would have caught more if we were all fishing and had more experience hooking the fish. It is not like Bass fishing, but Christian will teach you the right technique. You definitely catch the bigger ones on live bait so bring $60-$100 cash to buy live bait at one of the bait boats on your way out of the bay. Squid/cut bait is provided. Like I said, Captain Stephen and Christian are Pros! Not just at fishing but providing top notch customer service. If you are an experienced group or beginners like us, the Chances R team will provide you with a First Class Experience. We will be booking again!

  This is the best charter on the gulf coast!

  If you’re looking for an unforgettable offshore fishing experience, I highly recommend Chances R Charters! Our group of 11 went on a 12-hour trip, and it was hands down the best fishing experience I’ve ever had. Captain Stephen and our deckhand, Christian, were knowledgeable, personable, and worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone had a great time. Their expertise put us on the fish all day, and we ended up catching an amazing variety, including mahi, cobia, wahoo, red snapper, beeliner, and grouper. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first offshore trip, this crew goes above and beyond to make the day enjoyable and successful. We made great memories, caught plenty of fish, and can’t wait to book another trip. Five stars all the way!

  We had an amazing time deep sea fishing with Chances R Charters! Our group of 10 had such a fun and memorable experience. The crew was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time, whether it was helping with fishing, answering questions, or making the trip enjoyable for everyone. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and want everyone to have a successful and fun day on the water.   Bes trip ever !!

  What an incredible fishing trip! We had a group of 12 people and had an absolute blast from start to finish. The captain knew exactly where to take us, and the fishing was outstanding. We caught 42 fish total, including red snapper, grouper, and b-liners! A special shoutout to Christian, the deckhand, who was absolutely amazing. He worked nonstop helping our large group, baiting hooks, untangling lines, preparing fish, and making sure everyone had a great experience. We kept him busy all day, and he never missed a beat. His hard work and positive attitude made the trip even more enjoyable. The boat was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with an air-conditioned cabin, bathroom, and bunks, which made the day even more enjoyable. Everything about this charter exceeded our expectations. We made great memories, caught a ton of fish, and had an amazing time. We highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun and successful fishing trip. We will definitely be back next year!

  I'm solely writing this because fishing booker keeps asking me to. It was a very rough day at sea so we had to stay in the bay -- we did try and go out but we turned around promptly with the 8 foot swells at the end of the bay. This was totally understandable but it felt a bit like it was all an exercise to check a box, say we gave it a go and suddenly our 6 hour deep sea charter became a 6 hour bay trip at top dollar. We didn't think we'd catch any fish but eventually we did!! We caught around 10 fish. Mainly ladyfish and hardtails, a keeper bluefish and a keeper Spanish mackerel -- which was awesome. We were so stoked the bluefish and mackerel as our biggest objective was to catch fish for dinner. We did have 6 hungry guys so it obviously was shy of how much we'd need, but hey, such is fishing. I think next time it would be fun to try and switch tactics to try and get into the hunt with some awesome charter guys who've spent countless hours on those waters but I don't think they had the authority to. It was super cool to step into their world as-is but never really felt like we got to experience them doing what they loved. We did talk about trying to catch a shark (surely that would give us enough table fair for dinner) but it never materialized. Aside from the fishing, we had a great time overall and I would recommend Knot Right. On a better weather day, I think we'd probably have a great day fishing, too. The thing I'd recommend most to people booking a boat is to cover yourselves by knowing the cancellation policy. Tropical storm Arthur threw everything around and we should've trusted our guts and preemptively canceled. Maybe the boat should've let us know our trip wouldn't be the same as we'd hoped in the days prior, that no other bots were heading out and that there was a high likelihood we'd immediately turn around. Or maybe at least discussed with us beforehand so we could decide whether we wanted to fish in the bay instead. Just my thinking. 10/10 recommend Knot Right!
