    Very very fun trip!

    We had an absolute blast with captain mike! Caught some really nice red fish even when the fish wasn’t biting and very finicky. He definitely knows his stuff when it comes to fishing. Apart from fishing we had an amazing time being out on his boat and he was extremely friendly even let us fish for a little longer waiting for the perfect bite! We had 4 people on the boat and had plenty of room to. I highly recommend him if you want to have a good time and catch some fish!

    Great trip with an experienced local captian.

    Captain Mike’s charter was a fantastic experience. Mike put us on active spots the entire trip, resulting in a productive day of fishing even in lass than ideal conditions. While other boats were getting skunked we were hooking up on trophy reds. Mike obviously knew the local fishery well, and cared deeply about the health of the local populations.

    Mike is a great guy and guide. Very knowledgeable and an amazing guy to talk with. Will absolutely use him again. If you are looking to fish with someone and worried ablut wasting money, he will make it worth every penny!!

Inshore Redfish

Its May and the season is getting hot ! Lots of Reds movingin from the ocean and are hungry when they get here. Some topwater as long as there is some when but live bait is working best. Take your kids fishing !

Redfish Bit in Topsail Island

Well i think the cold fronts are gone and the over slot Reds are moving in from the ocean. Lots of schools of slot fish on the flats still as the bait thickens . Topwater soft plastics and live bait have been working for me. Weather is perfect! Remember to take your kids fishing !’

Inshore :Redfish Redfish Redfish! Lots of huge schools of Redfish have moved into the flats. Clear water makes them a easy target ! Perfect time to get your kids on the water!

Today a cold front came through and slowed the bite down a bit but patients was the key. Had a large school of redfish 20foot in front of us all day and picked at them most of the trip. Sight fishing is key this time of year. Take your kids fishing!’

Today we saw a ton of fish on the flats and around the docks . Lots of mullets are falling out of the creeks .This is a perfect time to get your kids on the water .
