Had an awesome half-day out on the water with Sam. Conditions were calm and perfect for offshore fishing. We started trolling early and quickly got into the action. Landed a beautiful sailfish, which was definitely the highlight of the trip! Along the way, we also picked up several mahi mahi (dolphin), with great size and color, plus a solid yellowfin tuna to round things out. All in all, a super productive trip with steady action and a great mix of species. Couldn’t have asked for better conditions or a better result for a half day. What an amazing half-day fishing adventure with the Salty Team Mauritius crew! We headed offshore from the north coast and enjoyed nonstop action throughout the trip. The catch included several tuna, bonito, and a beautiful mahi-mahi (dorado), making for an unforgettable day on the water. The crew was professional, friendly, and worked hard to put us on the fish. Calm seas, great company, and a fantastic variety of catches made this one of the highlights of our Mauritius holiday. Dorado season is firing! Landed an epic mix of mahi mahi with nonstop action, crystal-clear water, and perfect beach conditions. Schools of dorado were everywhere, with fish lit up in electric blues and golds. Fast runs, aerial fights, and a full lineup on the sand made for an unforgettable day on the water.
