2023 Starts off Right!

Split Bill made it's first trip of the season as some very promising water moved over the continental shelf unexpectedly. The crew started trolling roughly 60 miles offshore where blue, warm water was pushing up against cool green water. Capt. Andy found a very nice, tight weed line and began working it and that's when a Mahi jumped the spread. As lines were put back in the water, BOOM a nice 30 lb yellowfin tuna jumped the spread and the crew was able to board it as well. The bite slowed down after that but it was a great trip offshore to knock the rust off.
