Quick Trip

We started early on another unexpected windy day, but Sun was shining strong and water was warm and clear. With some heavier weights, we held bottom and picked up our first flounder in a few minutes. We caught Dogfish and Sea Bass, too. Everybody enjoyed all the fish catching in just two hours. Another 5-STAR trip!!! ????

With sketchy weather reports saying “A-Z”, we took to the 71 degree Atlantic Ocean and slayed those Fluke with top/bottom rigs! It was calm, mild and flat. We caught Black Sea Basses and even a few Sea Robins! Lots of firsts for everyone, today!!

Even though we fished last two hours of outgoing and first two of incoming, the bite was consistent. Water was low 70s and pretty clear on incoming. You could see the green water pressing in as tide started coming in - pretty amazing to see. We fished the line and caught. Fish seemed to be mostly “near keeper” size, too. Terns were diving on baitfish, but no Bluefish. (Where are they?) With everyone catching, with blue skies, with cooler temps, trips are definitely bringing smiles.
