Served in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, certified as a crew member, vessel examiner and trainer for boating safety course. Captain Chris is a retired police officer, US Air Force Vet (serving active duty time in Qatar and flying as 'Raven' security to places like Afghanistan, Pakistan and UAE, after 9-11) former adjunct English professor, works with special needs children and NJ K-5 certified teacher. Experience! Captain Chris has been raised near saltwater and knows Ocean City fishing area like the back of his hand. He fishes for Striped Bass in the back waters of Egg Harbor River to White Marlin in the canyons 100 miles out. Capt. Chris wants to give you a great fishing trip at a reasonable cost.

I took my 13-year-old son and his buddy, and the goal was simple—get the kids some action and catch fish. Mission accomplished. We had a fun, efficient two hours with plenty of action and fish caught. Chris made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. Exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend.

Svar fra kapteinAwesome trip, Greg! A two hour trip is a short time, but we accomplished a lot of catching. We ventured into the ocean (and caught) and we fished the inlet (and caught). Species boated: Croakers, Black Sea Bass, Kingfish and Flounder. Everyone had a blast! You and the boys were excellent company and I enjoyed our conversations! It was a fantastic trip! He adjusted our trip time to better accommodate the tides and weather, made sure our kids (11&14) were equipped with everything they needed, and helped them when they caught fish! He was very informative and talked with us on our trip, explaining everything he was doing. He also ensured the safety of my children in the rougher waters, which I really appreciated. We caught flounder, sea bass, sea robin, and a little shark! Ovetall it was a great time and I highly recommend Capt. Chris and Wee Cat Charters! 🦈🎣

A Perfect Birthday Fishing Adventure!

The captain was kind, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day. My husband and his friends had a great time being out on the water, enjoying the experience, and catching a few fish along the way. It was a fun, memorable trip, and we truly appreciate the captain’s professionalism and hospitality. We would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day of fishing. 🎣🎉

That’s the essence of a good fishing trip - bonding. Don’t get me wrong…catching is fun, too! But, we started with a fine weather day and I explained a lot of fishing tips. No doubt, this was a great start for saltwater fishing. I think they realized fish don’t hook themselves, as you got to get a feel for the bite and timing your hookset. With being best friends, some reggae music, full sun and a few cold Coronas, it was surely a memorable trip. (I loved the t-shirts, by the way.) I look forward to seeing your crew back on the boat!!! As it turned out, the whole day was slow…not sure if it was the weather or stronger than predicted NW wind…but that’s fishing. You guys were a fun crew and I enjoyed showing everyone some “pro-tips.” I’m happy everyone left with more fishing/boating knowledge than before you arrived. I hope to see you guys back! Run & Gun False Albacore and Kings

Stellar Fishing Trip! Ocean was calm and I treated my customers to an extra treat by fishing/trolling down to Ventnor. While bottom-fishing, we caught several Croakers, Bluefish and a Kingfish. I spotted birds working, so we went over there and False Albacore were jumping out of the water. We chased them around (Run & Gun) and caught two. They are strong fighters and it’s fun to watch them in their feeding frenzy. Catching a few is super-special! Lots of cathing, today!????

I took this crew right into thr ocean, which was 74 degrees. First drop was successful. We caught Croakers, Kingfish, Flounder and Black Sea Bass, today. Pretty much…non-stop catching. What a great group from PA!

SEPTEMBER: So far, so good!! September is a terriffic month to fish with the young family. Less boat traffic, nice weather and a great bite that keeps kids smiling. I offer these short trips as inexpensive first-time experiences. So far, they’ve been fun and just long enough for everyone to decide if saltwater boat fishing is their thing. Pictures say it all. ?????

Strong Croaker and Black Sea Bass Bite

GREAT BITE!!! First, warm 76 degree water has seemingly pushed most flounder out to sea. ☹️ Black Sea Bass have taken their place, with a vengeance. We went out into a flat beautiful ocean and Croakers were biting strong. I’m not sure how long this will last, but end of Summer and early Fall fishing is incredible. ???

Warm Water Bite with Grey Triggerfish

Warm water with a great bite! How long will it continue? We even had several exotic Grey Triggerfish biting our Gulp, today. (Edit: The Triggerfish meat is solid white and frys up with a fantastic non-fishy taste! It’s SO TASTY, I’ll start targeting them.) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Flounder, Sea Bass & Doubles Galore

Off the charts bite, this morning! We caught Flounder, Black Sea Bass, Croakers and Dogfish. Sometimes, we caught doubles and multiple hookups at same time! After a few quieter days last week, this was a welcome change. Water was 68, low wind, drift speed ranged from .75 to 2.25 mph, started with heavy, low fog that ended quickly with full sun. With this group, we had a blast!!
No long trip to a reef, and we bent rods for less money and just 15 minutes after leaving dock. (Actually, we caught the first two fish 1 minute from dock.?)
