Madeira Marlin - Balancal is run by Magic Dolphin Atividades Maritimas Lda, specializing in excellent game fishing and incredible customer services. Their captains are experienced, passionate, and will do everything to provide their customers with an incredible fishing experience. Born in the Madeira, Captain Fabio Abreu grew up on the sea, surrounded with boats and fishing. He used to worked many years in Magic Dolphin Catamaran, but his heart was always in fishing. When opportunity came, we did not think twice about putting Fabio in charge of Balancal big game fishing. He is one of the top captains in the area, specializing in pelagics.

    Nice trip today, but no fish at all.

    I understand the advertising of the fishing trips, but it’s absolutely low season right now and what have expected to get this information somewhere. The boat and crew is great. I don’t like the advertising for Madeira fishing in August.

While we always do everything we can to find the fish, we can never guarantee landing a big fish on any given trip, regardless of the time of year.     Så utrolig fantastisk dag vi hadde! Selv om vi dessverre ikke fikk noen fisk, var det likevel en uforglemmelig opplevelse! Og det var alt takket være David og Fabi! Så utrolige mennesker! Fra første øyeblikk skapte de en fantastisk stemning om bord. Deres entusiasme, vennlighet, humor og lidenskap for fiske gjorde denne dagen virkelig spesiell. De gjorde alt de kunne for å hjelpe oss med å få en god fangst, men slik er fisket! Og heldigvis handler en slik dag om så mye mer enn bare å fange fisk! For å toppe det hele fikk vi til og med se delfiner svømme i det fri! 🐬 Et så vakkert øyeblikk som gjorde en allerede fantastisk dag enda mer spesiell. David og Fabi, tusen takk for deres dedikasjon, gode selskap og fantastiske gjestfrihet. Dere beviste at selv uten å fange en eneste fisk, kan man forlate båten med et stort smil om munnen! Vi vil anbefale denne opplevelsen på det varmeste til absolutt alle, og vi kommer definitivt tilbake! Forhåpentligvis neste gang med en stor fangst! 🎣❤️

    Strålende opplevelse. Det var sønnens bursdag og han fanget sin aller første tunfisk. Fikk også masse Snapper (Rød). Mannskapet var veldig hyggelig og hadde god erfaring. Vil absolutt anbefale.

    Kaptein Fabio og styrmann Davide var fantastiske og gjorde alt de kunne for å få meg på fisken. Begge super vennlige og med enorme mengder fiskekunnskap og erfaringer. Vil absolutt anbefale alle å fiske med dem.

A fun morning out, went 0-1 to a white marlin, unfortunately it shook the hook a few minutes in... At least some dinner for our clients who caught this Skipjack and Dorado on some light gear, great fun!
