Cool Temps Hot Bite

Incredible morning catching Neuse River Giant Redfish on artificials.

Summer is coming to an end and the cooler water temps are making for some excellent fishing. We are catching plenty of redfish, bluefish, and spanish mackerel, as well as black drum and flounder. We are also starting to see some speckled trout, but the best of that bite is still a month away.

The evening started off a little slow with a big flood tide, but as the tide began to fall the bite turned on and we finished the trip off with a great redfish bite.
