Last minute half day trip with the guys!

What can I say... if you're fishing in the Maldives you cannot go past the boys at Skull Fishing. Being from Australia, I regularly fish of charter boats and habe dealt with many crews. I must take my hat off and congratulate the crew at Skull Fishing as well as their management team. I've been wanting to use skull fishing for about a month leading into my birthday and honeymoon at Centara Ras Fushi. I was afraid to use a third party charter knowing that Centara has their own big game program. However after all the plane their boat wasn't ready and I was advised at 6pm the night before my birthday that we can't go. I decided to message the crew at Skull Fishing at 11.00pm thinking not much of it, but with in 5 minutes I received an email allowing me to come out with them at 5.30am. Their afternoon and night fishing were booked out so I had no choice but gladly accept. A decision both my wife and I are amazed with. The crew were prepared even though it was a last minute request for the sake of my birthday. We wife came with me and she doesn't handle the sea well but the crew made sure she felt good. With in 5 minutes of Trolling we got our Wahoo. Then all the boats came and there wasn't much luck so we went elsewhere, that's when my wife's rod went off with a tuna. After trolling we decided to launch some poppers where I was smashed by a good sized red snapper/bass. The fish attacked the poppers but we didn't have much Luck, the crew even jumped in and tirelessly popped the lures hoping for more strikes. After popping we decided to Jig and that was great. I managed another tuna and a grouper where my wife landed a baby GT... a fish I ways dreamt about. Even though it was my birthday they managed to encourage and persuade my wife not to give up which was awesome. They assisted everywhere and kept feeding and serving us drinks. The boys new I was chasing the BIG one and their boss allowed me an extra hour of fishing. By Then, I was way too tired and so happy that I didn't mind going back home. We rocked up back to our hotels Jetty with style where the staff and other patrons couldn't stop looking. The guys use braid and Penn and Shimano reels including a Penn international overhead. I highly recommend the boys and will habe a 6 hour session next time. Thanks!!!! Fantastic!
