We had a good morning bite and caught two nice Yellow Tails. The rest of the day was slow, we moved to bunch of locations and even trolled with out any luck. That’s why it’s called fishing!! Great over all experience. Thanks Team, @ Baja Peninsula Adventures Tours!!
Captain Victor Is a very good fisherman, skipper and hard working. Even though my pic is of the nice yellowtail, my wife was able to land a brown grouper and together we caught maybe a dozen or so red snappers. The Captain pointed out the islands and their names -but if you're looking for a well versed conversationalist type of Captain, Victor is not your man - but he knows enough English to briefly answer your questions he is also very patient and kind. I'll fish with him again. Thank Captain Victor
Fishing with Rene Charters, and Cpt. Antonio. Great fishing with Antonio. He put us right on the fish in the morning and spent the time dropping in on hot boiling yellowtail tail bites or slow trolling over the San Bruno reef structure. Hooked 4, landed 3. Overall a great time. Thank you Rene & Antonio!
My family and I booked a half-day sightseeing trip to Isla Coronado with Baja Peninsula Adventure Tours. Captain Victor was an awesome guide, getting us up close and personal with Blue-Footed Boobies, Sea Lions and more. He also supplied 4 sets of snorkel gear for us to spend more than an hour in 2 different locations. The water was crystal clear and full of life. When we were pulling out and headed back to the marina, Victor heard about a school of dolphins in the area. He immediately changed course and put us right next to them! Rene also gets top marks for her knowledge and timely communication before and after the trip. I left an expensive jacket in one of the storage areas of the boat. I sent Rene a message through WhatsApp and she quickly arranged to get the jacket back for me before I headed back home. Great trip for me and my family.
We had an amazing day with Capt Antonio, he is awesome he speaks perfect English he is engaging and goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. He was also terrific with our 9 yr old. His boat is also terrific is it big, clean etc. I can't say enough great things to do Captain Antonio and his boat justice! We also.caught 6 yellowtail within the first 3.5 hrs.
Fishing was fair: Cap. Antonio was putting quite some effort into finding fish and we managed to hook up 5 very small dorados. This was my first time fishing in Loreto, came w/ high expectations, so... The panga is quite spacious however no bimini for customers (unlike on most pangas here). The sun was very active so we ended up standing by the console, changing sides, trying to catch some shadow, during the entire trip. Exhausting... Also, lunch was not included: we were running late (departure almost 1H past the announced time) and, at the last moment, Antonio asked if we needed food. Meh... and so we went. I'd like to acknowledge Rene's help saving our catch! We had a few hours between AirB&B checkout and flight... in that heat, we'd lose out catch if not Rene's help. She offered to keep our fish in her freezer at home and she drove our fish, few hours later, to the taxi pick-up place. I appreciate Rene's help and will certainly use them again when I come to Loreto.
