We go at the best part of the day. We look at wind direction and speeds. We know when boat traffic will be heavy and disturb a safe and enjoyable trip. In other words, you fish when WE would fish with our family and friends. In short, the entire fishing charter is catered and designed for THE BEST opportunities, weather and fun for your party. Period!
Capt. Chris’s boat is a center console, so you can fish 360 degrees. It has a large T-top (shade if needed), an extra Sunbrella sunscreen cover for the stern (if requested), a rear bench seat, Spotify music, VHF radio, and two fish-finders. Fishing gear consists of Penn reels, Tsunami rods and Yo-Zuri braid. (A special gear upgrade trip can be purchased.)
Charter trips usually consist of traveling calm waters behind Ocean City, Longport, Margate, and Somers Point. Some trips will even go up the Tuckahoe and Great Egg Harbor Rivers. If we see dolphins and you want pics, we’ll stop and follow. Everyone loves dolphins!
Note: For safety and liability, infants can not board the boat.

We booked a 2 hour charter with Capt. Chris and had a great time! He adjusted our trip time to better accommodate the tides and weather, made sure our kids (11&14) were equipped with everything they needed, and helped them when they caught fish! He was very informative and talked with us on our trip, explaining everything he was doing. He also ensured the safety of my children in the rougher waters, which I really appreciated. We caught flounder, sea bass, sea robin, and a little shark! Ovetall it was a great time and I highly recommend Capt. Chris and Wee Cat Charters! 🦈🎣

We had a fantastic fishing trip for my husband’s birthday! The captain was kind, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day. My husband and his friends had a great time being out on the water, enjoying the experience, and catching a few fish along the way. It was a fun, memorable trip, and we truly appreciate the captain’s professionalism and hospitality. We would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day of fishing. 🎣🎉
Hi, Cherub! I enjoyed having the Birthday Men on the boat! I could tell they had a passion for fishing and each other’s friendship. That’s the essence of a good fishing trip - bonding. Don’t get me wrong…catching is fun, too! But, we started with a fine weather day and I explained a lot of fishing tips. No doubt, this was a great start for saltwater fishing. I think they realized fish don’t hook themselves, as you got to get a feel for the bite and timing your hookset. With being best friends, some reggae music, full sun and a few cold Coronas, it was surely a memorable trip. (I loved the t-shirts, by the way.) I look forward to seeing your crew back on the boat!!! Perfect Fishing Day! The week before this trip we booked a fishing trip thru Fishing Booker with Wee Cat. That fishing experience was Great and I thought Wee Cat could not top that. But they did. Capt. Chris is fantastic! We caught a verity of fish. Flounder, Sand Sharks and bass. The Capt. guided us as we reeled them in. Thanks Capt. Chris

We had a great fiest time fishing. The kids absolutely enjoyed. The 2 hour trip was just enough. We got lucky and had a overcast day and we were able to catch fish. We did not get to keep any due to size but we were happy with catch and release. Captain Chris was super friendly and very knowledgeable and good with communication.

We booked a 2-hour family-friendly fishing charter with Captain Chris for myself, my husband, and our two sons (ages 7 and 9). From start to finish, Captain Chris communicated clearly — from where to meet, to suggesting we push our time back an hour due to the tide so we’d have better success. On the boat, he was fantastic with the kids, explaining what he was doing and why, so they learned along the way. He worked hard to keep us in the best spots, and both kids caught a variety of fish. We had such a great time, and we’ll definitely book with him again on our next vacation. Captain Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun for the whole family.
