Captain Nick Cool is a fishing fanatic who’s following his dreams of running a charter on the waters he knows and loves. Departing out of Huron, OH, he can’t wait to welcome you aboard Vitamin Sea Fishing Charters!
There’s one thing that Capt. Nick loves more than fishing, and that’s taking people out to fish. He knows the most productive spots that the lake has to offer, and will soon have you casting off for Perch, Walleye, and whatever else is biting. You don’t have to be an experienced angler to join him, either. Guests of all skill levels are welcome aboard, including families with little ones. Make this a family fishing trip to remember!
Capt. Nick’s 26’ Slickcraft Tiara SC is a comfortable vessel with room for up to 4 guests. She’s decked out with a toilet and top quality navigational and safety gear, as well as solid fishing equipment that’ll let you try out a range of techniques. If you’d like to drift fish or cast, all anglers can fish at the same time. With trolling, you’ll take it in turns to get your hands on the rods and reels. This is a great time to relax and take in the lake’s scenery between bites!
Lake Erie is home to a variety of freshwater species, and Capt. Nick will have you targeting 2 of the most desirable ones – Walleye and Perch! You’ll be using top-quality Okuma and Cabela’s rods and reels, and your captain will be on hand to show you how to hone your technique. If you’d like to take home your fill of Walleye, Capt. Nick will happily fillet it for you at $3 per fish.
You’ll be provided with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Make sure you purchase a fishing license before. Then it’s just a case of grabbing your favorite snacks and drinks, and joining Vitamin Sea Fishing Charters for a great adventure on this Great Lake!

Had a fantastic time with my 13 year old son on this trip. The highlight was the amazing sunrise on our way out. Unfortunately the fishing wasn’t good, however Nick was amazing, communicating the entire weekend leading up to the trip, and was HONEST!! He offered to reschedule because he knew the fishing was bad due to a transition in the weather. Unfortunately our circumstances couldn’t accommodate a reschedule. He agreed to take us out, the sunrise was amazing, conversation was great, he taught my son some new fishing tricks and new fishing locations when we go back to Columbus. We ended up with only a handful of fish but overall it was a memorable day. We will be planning a rematch for next summer.

We had a great time fishing wth Vitamin Sea fishing! I was afraid the heat might spoil the day but we got started early and started catching fish quickly. Captain Nick was great! He was patient with the whole family, keeping everyone involved. He even showed my son how to clean the fish.

Captain Nick was great!! My son and I had a great time and we caught our limit in fish before it got too hot outside.. I highly recommend using this charter, Captain Nick was extremely informative especially to two people that had never been out in Lake Erie to fish before.. I will be booking this on a yearly basis just because we had such a good time!! Thanks Captain Nick for a fantastic morning of catching Walleye, can’t wait to fry them up!! See ya soon!!

This fishing trip on the charter boat was my first and it was absolutely fantastic. Captain Nick is a total pro and guaranteed we had an amazing time with lots of laughs. Okay, I confess I messed up and lost a big one but thats okay. we definitely will be another trip soon.

We booked a half day, my two boys and I who never finished walleye before, captain was awesome and we caught a steady stream of fish the entire time. I plan on coming back very soon and rebooking! Captain was personable and enjoyed what he does making it that much better!
