Jawjackers – Hunting Combo 

Jawjackers Charters specializes in cast n’ blast trips out of Port Aransas, Texas. Captain Joshua Trejo has fished the Texas side of the Gulf his whole life and knows all the best spots to put you on big fish. He’s an avid outdoorsman and loves combining fishing and hunting for his customers. You’ll do a little bit of both and get to take home your catch for a nice surf n’ turf with the family.

You’ll be fishing from a 22’ center console, equipped with state-of-the-art navigational electronics, fishing equipment, and safety gear. The boat’s shallow hull makes her perfect for fishing the flats and inshore waters of Port Aransas. She features a spacious deck that accommodates up to 5 guests comfortably and children of all ages are welcome aboard.

You’ll start the first half of the day with hunting and the second half will be dedicated to fishing. While fishing, you’ll target Cobia, Kingfish, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, and Snapper. For more information on hunting, be sure to contact your captain to see which animals you’ll be targeting.

Top-quality rods, reels, and tackle are provided on each trip but you’ll have to bring your own hunting gear (rifles and ammunition). Also, be sure to purchase a hunting and fishing license before your trip. You may do so online or at any local bait and tackle shop.

Please note that the departure point for each trip may vary, so be sure to check in with Capt. Josh before heading out. Remember to grab some sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and feel free to bring snacks and drinks as well.
