Curixa Fishing Lodge is a guide service that provides all-inclusive experiences on the Guapore River in northeastern Bolivia. Your boat for the day is an 18' custom-built skiff, equipped with a GPS, VHF radio, and First-Aid kit. This boat is perfect for navigating shallow waters while fishing some of the most secluded spots along the river. There are a total of 4 boats available and each one accommodates up to 2 guests.
You'll be fishing over sandbars and shallow flats, targeting species such as Peacock Bass, Payara, and Redtail Catfish. Other target species include Arapaima, Piraiba, Sardinata, and Curvina. These waters are clear and perfect for sight fishing, so you'll be able to spot the fish easily.
Your options are either casting or fly fishing on light tackle. The species you'll be targeting are challenging and fun to catch on fly or conventional tackle. Just be sure to pack your own gear and bring some extra elbow grease for the fight you're about to put up!
Each trip includes 7 nights of accommodation, 6 days of fishing, pick-up and drop-off from Santa Cruz Airport, as well as 3 meals a day, and beverages. Just pack whatever you need for a week's worth of travel and be sure to buy a fishing license before your trip.
